In general yes, news events are used like that. Mark might use a news bar no matter what the range but I dont think so. Not all wide spread bars can be used as WRBs, they have to satisfy a set of rules or they are simply wide spread bars. I should say at this point, that I've done some work with WRB analysis but I'm by no means an authority on it. For clarification you should ask Mark.

Just got a test on the 5 min after a 15min shakeout(I think). Test at about 3603.

Well this came from nowhere. 2 more pips and my be would have been hit.
