Dreamliner and SMJ

Can I ask how you are setting your platform up now to receive alerts and manage trades? Here's how I'm doing it. I've got Tradable Correlations 1.8 set up on a chart to give me all alerts for a specific TF. If I get an alert I then load the Stochastic Different Pairs 1.6b to monitor the trade if I take it (I'm also testing Stochastic different pairs 1.7_4 by Miki as it has the prior range move calc in it)

DL, are you just looking to use the Tradable Correlations StochDif(3)(3) indicator that SMJ just fixed to give you summary across all the TFs? I'm not sure what else it can do that Tradable Correlations 1.8 can't do?

Is there anything else you are using/doing?

[Edit: I'm also using the Going Home Trade Sending Script by SteveHopwood for entry]

I load 3 charts with Tradable Correlations 1.8 for each time frame as per screenshot attached

I was going to ask the same thing...I am doing M5 & M15 with an 85% trigger and only hedged pairs but no alerts as yet today.....

Nothing yet! Although I did not start till about an hour ago becuase Alpari UK demo servers were down

I reviewed this week's correlations and spread and some slight changes to the sets. I now have:

90 % entry and 20 % exit on 5 min TF since market open on sunday evening :

1) Trade 1 :gbpaud sell, eurchf buy.
Result : 42 pips profit.
2) Trade 2 : nzdjpy sell, gbpcad buy.
Result : 25 pips profit.

note : Right now i have no signal for entry in 5 min so no open trades. Any body has ?

Navk, very nicely done. 67 pips to start your week is not bad.

IŽve been really busy with my 3 years old son, but forex will be always there, and the 3 years of my son not.

Excellent priorities Caillou; we had 6 children, the last two were twins. I'm so thankful we put other things aside and raised them up to be who they are today. There is no investment like that of your family, so glad to see you putting them ahead of trading.

Could s.o. add an autolotsize for "Stoch Diff 2 Pair" auto-trading EA, which can be set "x" percentage of free margin?

Here is a version with Risk percent input.

- added RiskPerCent input: adjust LotSize to % of FreeMargin;
- added MaxLots to limit LotSize;


Other mods :

'Remember my small remark about the "Pair2" label that i had created with the "Basket Profit 2 Pairs sq.mq4" indicator ?
Saying that it would be for future use...

Here is its other use now:

- when "Pair2" input is left empty, the EA will set it to the "Pair2" Label object it finds on the chart: that's the upper-right corner purple Label.

So, now, if you are loading the "Basket Profit 2 Pairs sq.mq4" indicator AND the EA on the same chart, they will BOTH try to use the "Pair2" Label on upper-right corner if they can find it, and auto-adjust their "Pair2" input accordingly (if left blank in the indicator and EA).
So, by just changing the Label contents to another pair, "Basket Profit 2 Pairs sq.mq4" indicator AND the EA will BOTH switch to use that new Pair2 without the need to manually go and change the relevant inputs in each of them.
"Integrated trading tools"...

I will also release later another indicator using this same principle.


- when trades are closed, a green vertical line is drawn on that closing bar when the trade is a winner, or in Red for a looser, for an instant viewof the trades outcomes.

Hi, thanks a lot for the revised version.

I loaded both the EA and basket profit indi in the same chart.

I chose the first pair as GBPCAD in both indi as well as EA. The second pair, i left blank in both indi as wellas EA.The text message comes as pair 1 and pair 2 must be different so robot stopped. Any mistake i did ? Can you clarify ? Thanks. The picture is also attached.

well... the warning says it all i guess...

You should set the upper-right label to something different from "GBPCAD": this will be your second pair.

An alternative is to change the "Pair2" input of either the Indi or the EA.
-- they will both adjust to that new setting and the Label will also be updated.

You can leave the "Pair1" blank in both, they will default to the chart's main pair.

You could also drag another pair to the chart from the MarketWatch window --> this will become your "Pair1" (if left blank in the EA and indy), and GBPCAD will remain your Pair2.

I left magic number at 0 and money target at 0 per all charts
but when opened trades has closed immediately !
I use m5 and m30 for same pairs,
I have to put magic number ??

hmmmm....
that happened to me when i had wrongly set OpenTradeStoch to be less than CloseTradesStoch...
so i added a check on it and it should spit a warning if this is the case (and no trade).

If you set ProfitTarget to 0, then it should trade only based on the Stochastic Difference value.

Can you post a picture and what the Terminal "Expert" tab log is showing ?

If you are using the EA on same pairs but different timeframes (m5 and m30) , and set the MagicNumber to 0, then it should create different magicnumbers for both automatically.

Look into the Account History for those closed trades on both timeframes, and display the "Comment" column: it should give a different value XXXXXX in "StochDiff+pair1-pair2 XXXXXX" for trades taken on different timeframes.

If not, then "hello Mr. Buggy"...
