we need to see more weeks to get the results!
only 7 trades there, we need 50 trades to know if it's valid or not.

and in the record,
15217899 2011.02.02 17:20 sell 0.44 eurusd 1.3785 1.3769 0.0000 2011.02.03 16:44 1.3650 0.00 0.00 0.00 135 594.00

half of the pips are got from this trade!

1.3785 is a enter price to sell, stop loss is set to 1.3769, how to do it ?

Alright guys.

I just closed out all my trades.

I achieved over 300 pips total on my live account this week.

As you can see from my demo account I totaled 293 pips and that's even with a unnecessary loss of -28 pips that I forgot to take out on the demo account.

cubbybgood.mt4live.com

I hope this is some proof for you guys that this system can pull in 100s of pips per week.

I think I will start the chat room for Monday trading. Keep you guys posted!

You can remove that thrade that gotten half the pips and he would still be in huge profit... neither was it his largest win.
I found a penny today. That's +100 pips for me.

Because you need to confirm a trade on 5 min with the ma's on 15m, the attached mtf moving average may help. Can't remember where I picked this up from, think it was ff itself. Its comprehensive in allowing you to specify ma method ( 1 for ema etc), applied price, shift and color ( just change the last setting on colors for the color you want). In any case, it labels the mtf line on the right with what it is so there is no confusion, lol.

Hope it helps.

I Have wonderful sistem, that earns 24hours per day, and there is problem- no one can stay to pc 24h per day. Need this sistem make to robot.

Sistem is simply- when red, then sell, when buy, then buy. In months +2500 + (-1000)= 1000-1500.

in attachemnt indicator and foto how it looks like.

I ve just backtested it. There are more losses than wins. Keep in mind, the line changes color only after the canlde is closed. I don't know
if you chose december 2010, because I backtested many many systems and December 2010 (excluding christmans week) had the best results.
My renko system had 20 straight wins in the beginning of december, so did almost any system.

Try testing recent week... have fun, because there is a loss after loss.

Hi Everyone. My template. For 5min. and 15min. Expert opens the transaction with given a TP and SL. Double click on the buy or sell and drag below the green line. If necessary, double-click to select a take or stop and drag to the desired level. If you want to - use a trailing stop. Thank you Cubbybgood!

Hey guys!

I've got some bad news. I will not be doing the chat room Monday.

I may get some people mad at me but I've been invited to trade with a group of expert heavy hitter forex traders and I'm going to take it.

This doesn't mean I'm going to just leave but a lot of my time will be spent elsewhere. I've done a lot for you guys here on this thread and and FF I think it's enough for me to be allowed to move if I so chose.

I will make this post again Monday morning to make sure that everyone see's it.

Of course that a SL can be on the positive side. Did you heard about trailing stop ?

Interesting and succesfull strategy.
A bit dangerous in sideways moments, but what strategy isn't it ?

Just for info (and really without any bad meaning at all): has anybody here ever heard before about a trader called Vladimir Ribakov and his SrS Trendrider System ?

Just google it, I think also on youtube is something about that.

I do not want to say "the system was created first by this or that", no interest at all, but just wanted to let you know that there is also an EA managing the SL and TP (anyway with 80% and 20% instead of 70/30) which could help your trading, closing automatically the smallest portion with the same concept of Cubbybgood.

There is also a HTF alert, but I think (am not an expert) that it scans also another undisclosed indicator of that system, which perhaps doesn't work to this one.
Moreover I think you also have worked on a good HTF alert for this system, so no need for that.

Good work and good pipping to everybody.

Yes, from my googling this strategy does seem very similar to Trendrider, also heard FX Child's Play is similar, but don't know much about that one.
Would be interesting if anyone has Trendrider to hear their thoughts, perhaps they could be run side by side?

Something just occurred to me, when looking at swing highs/lows does it matter if the two preceeding or following candles follow each other in ascendency/descendency?
I know that probably doesn't sound very clear so I've added a pic as an example, as you can see the second candle following the high is higher than the first that follows the high, does this still make it a swing high? and what if the second candle leading to the high was lower than the first?
Is that clear?!
Same but opposite for short...........

Good that you ask this question as part of learning. The answer is in hhLhhllHll_alert_v3.ex4. Load this indicator, it will tell you whether it is valid swing high or swing low. The programmer did a very good job on this. Thanks to cubbybgood. With this thread, he has make trading fun.

Hi, sorry, can't find the paper, I did, but it was good.
Cubbybgood tested it live for a year, do you need any more confirmation?

We posted pages ago how many set ups there is in one single day. Cubby's words: 2-5 set ups every day, do NOT take more than 2 trades per pair in one single day, risk max 3% per trade.
Mine words were almost the same from backtestin: there is at least two set ups every day, the highest was 8 for a day, but I would not recommend taking them, just take 2 per pair.

Just backtest one week, when you see on M15 EMAS sloping good, look at M5 and find a good trade.

Backtesting is not as hard as live, because Live candles form and slope of EMAs change all the time. So there are more fake outs. The win ratio is high! Backtest showed more than 80% winrate. Given 2:1 risk reward, you are still in plus.
I found a penny today. That's +100 pips for me.
