Sticking with my short. Just added a very small short position on the Euro vs USD as well. Crazy Friday tomorrow, but if we are under 111 in the morning I'll sit tight for the news. No rush now. Spread is to big now to short EJ again now.

Lets see if it can break 110 until Tuesday. That would be a clear signal of weakness. Not adding position here until it does.

Dear all.

I'm going to try to introduce you.

I'm a Spanish person who have a mortage in Spain who has a mortage in multicurrency way. There are a lot of people in Spain with this kind of mortage, in fact, I have a mortage in Yen currency.

The problem is that we started with this kind of mortage in 2007, and as you know EURJPY in 2007 was arround 160-170. Now EURJPY at 110. So our mortage has grown in 45% so imagine the problem.

So, our interest it's very diferent that trader people, we need that EURYEN go up and not go down.

We are very worry about it... So can you make us a proyection of EURJPY in a long term?. 2 years, 5 years, 10 years?.

Do you think that it would be a good idea to change to another currency CHF, USD, CAD, GBP...?. Remember that we always earn EUR currency.

Hola! Púes va a ser dificil saber para donde vá. Por Ahora esta nel 112 y es con eso que teneis que contar. Nadie, pero nadie sabe a donde vá. Se perguntas a uno, ello te diar una cosa, otro otra.

Se yo fuera ustedes me quedaria tal como ahora, pagando el emprestimo em ienes.

En mi opinión todavia hay espacio para que baje más, como para llegar a los 100 o menos. Pero a hacerlo ya será más despacio que antes.

@ if you have any money left after you paid the mortgage each month , start build long position on eur/usd and usd /jpy.

@eur/yen will go up in few years time as the european economy is getting better.

Hi ben10. Yes I pay the mortage in EUR.

Ok, You are long in eur/yen, but do you think that in middle term we could see euryen below 100?. Can be 105 the bottom of euryen now and in the future?.

I don't know if it's very complicated to upload an image about your feeling in euryen in one year for example and in 5 years.

There is a webpage www.marketvisiontv.com who send different studies in many pairs. In EURYEN in long term they have this point of view. What do you think?.

So If euryen goes to 88 it's very different that if euryen doesn't go there and the last minimun value is 105...

Well I went long against all odds at 112.14, with a very large stop, I figure this would be a good place to begin, perhaps a scalp or if it drops I will add to longs as it goes down. @ss backwards trading today

That's Don Haines analysis which I personally am not very found of... I simply don't like his methods, however I agree that EUR/JPY can reach the levels depicted on that chart. Below is a view of the chart I posted on my blog this weekend.

I'm not currently selling, but I had been every now and then in February. April has historically been the most bullish month for the EUR/JPY so I'm going to hold off on any long-term selling.
