I'd like to see it break and clear out of this down channel. Seems to me the pit traders & the Dow boys must be trying to make up their mind on where the S&P is heading - I find Bloomberg's reports from the floor to be a very good assessment of the trader's mindset, and they definitely have Egypt on their mind & probably TVs. Question is, was that what drove EU / GU / ES down on Friday. S&P is currently trying to stay positive, but not winning yet.

i won't short this market yet and 3770 was the spot i mentioned this morning as high prob retrace spot for launchpad. signals align and entry confirmed 3790. prior to nfp i always reduce trading to highest potential setups...

Its all about the stops right now and where the most congested. Reducing risk now is the smart play, everybody listen to the Dr.s orders.

I ended up jumping in off that NS even though is was under Hull and pal...with only a 15pip stop it seemed like a low enough risk trade.
Today's zone = Tomorrow's opportunity!

seems the professionals want to challenge me...

3770 as screamed out this morning. we moved below the last low on decreasing vol...now watch this lovely shakeout bar. it dipped into the absolute lows for the day...and has obvious low vol. those shakeouts are far better than high vol ones. if shakeouts had higher vol we will have to test it and come back down, on low vol we can rally off of.

Imagine that another 5min no supply just printed with it's high at 3790 (same as the original one earlier today)...

just a range inside which (70,80,90%- as you like to define) of the vol from the previous day is located.
