You have accidentally added an er to the code somewhere. Find and delete it (double click the error message and the compiler will take you there) or re-download to fix this.

Hi

I am running demos on the Beastie. So far it works great for quite a number of currency pairs. But there's one currency which is having its trades open for quite a few days - USDCHF.

My question is for such case what are the possible actions we can take?

Just a thought. If a CT trade then becomes a TT, it may already be or will go into Recovery. At this point, is not the answer to lift the value originally inserted in the RecoveryBreakevenProfits variable to let the Recovery trade then take on the characteristics of a TT trade.

Can anyone help me if I've understood the condition for a sell trend is wright.

In downtrend when the TMA middle line is below-the 240ma.

SELL. When market has retraced to the upper TMa line (green),then the price has fallen to cross 5ma,and the 5ma must be above the middle tma line. But the condition that the Beastie bot took a sell trend is totally differs .

If you see the Aus/Nzd chart.the bot took a sell trade when the market was above 5ma,but just below the middle line of TMA.
PS. The beastie took 2 tade,one a ct and a tt almost within 6pips.

Just ran into a random problem with Beastie.

Seems it couldn't move the SL on AUDJPY

Silent lurker around here for a long time and really appreciate your great EA's and the effort that you put into this addictive past time of ours.

The Going Home EA is missing:

 

  1. SendHedgeTrade: tells GH to buy the second pair in the correlation.

Also when i apply it to the chart it opens 5 trades (maximum) straight away for the same pair.

I have a weird problem. After downloading beastie, its icon in the navigator window is gray (instead of the normal blue and yellow). And when I compile it--fresh from download--an error comes up:

'/end_of_program' - ending bracket '}' expected.

Repeated attempts have given identical results. Any help would be most appreciated.

Not sure why this is happening but Beastie is giving me an error (Order Send Failed (134)) stating that I do not have enough money to place trades on a 2 particular currencies. Only one other position in each currency is currently open.

Anyone else having this error? It is now in an endless loop. And I will have to shut it down for these two currencies.

Shut down your platform, delete both the .exe and the .mq4 files then re-download.

Thanks. That did the trick. The .exe was a text file.(?)

Does anyone else get this error with Beastie?

"Order send failed with error (134): not enough money"

I am trading with 0.2 lots with $50k starting balance. I don't think I should be getting this error. Or maybe I am using a wrong setting?

I downloaded you EA "Going home " and testing for the last 2 days. Seems working very well.
I chose pairs according to 1.6 version tradeble corelations indi on 5 min chart. Entry at 80 and exit at 20. Earned 200 pips in the last two days.
Also testing on 15 min with same entry and exit criteria.

A thought. The exit criteria can be fixed in dollar terms or in pips too to allow the traders to choose exit option.

I don't know what causes this. Try deleting all the history files in the history folder. That worked for me before without causing problems for EA's
