I have added an alert to show why Beastie has closed a CT trade, If you do not want this, then go to void CloseAtLine() and comment out the line: Alert(OrderSymbol(), " CT Buy trade closed at the ", reason, OrderTicket() ); and its partner sell alert.



Hi Steve.....If the above is NOT an e-mail alert it is working fine....

The latest Beastie has just opened up 7 AUDCHF trades for some reason, each about a minute apart. And still going. I have TradeCounterTrend=True, CTAlertandTrade=True, TrendTradewithCT=False and the rest of the CT inputs are default.

Seems to have stopped now after I closed them all, deleted global variables and reloaded Beastie. Not really sure if it was my problem or a Beastie bug, but thought I better let you know anyway Steve.

Muzza, the same happened to me on 2 pairs
NZDUSD,NZDCAD It happened after I had re-tooled with the new Beastie
(deleted globals and shutdown) very quickly after coming up it started opening these trades.

Still happening here too, now on two other pairs, AUDNZD and EURCHF. Thats after redownloading, deleting all globals and closing platform and a computer restart too.

Ok guys. Understand this.

Lots of people reporting the same fault does nothing to help me.

Frankly, the multi-trade thingy you all report has not happened here on my demo since the latest update. The most likely thing to have happened is that you buggered up the update. Or something else. No idea what.

So, if the multi-trade thingy is happening to you, then turn off TrendTradeWithCT. I don't much care about bug reports and am ignoring them. If bugs appear on my demo, I shall cure them. Most of you lot lack the ability to report them in any way that conveys useful information to me, so I am ignoring your reports.

Astral pointed me here earlier today. It is an easy read and I took a few easy demo pips only minutes after reading the first post then the cut to the first few post- page 100 pages.

I just knew that you will have few ideas of your own (you are not a mechanic but a designer). It is such a simple but logical concept. So many people refer to FF as a university and they are quite correct. So much R&D happening here. It is unparalleled in the WWW.

As for the real business of the BEASTIE, it is a complete trading system. Its mother "THE BEAST" passed the difficult trading period of last 3 months with flying colours. I expect the same from the BEASTIE. The only thing we have to bear in mind is to utilize these powerful Expert Advisers you have kindly created for us in a conservative and cautious manner. After all they are called Expert Advisers and NOT expert traders.

It is not easy. Roundrock's correlation/diff indi contains some clever calculation code that I do not even begin to understand. The first thing to do is make a monkey-like conversion of the calculations so I can use them to generate trades.

I thought a few of you might like a giggle. I have just come across this little gem:

GBPJPY – A lower weekly close was recorded the past week after an attempt to break and hold above its Jan 18’2010 at 132.47 failed. Although this has put the cross under pressure, as long as it continues to hold above its broken long-term falling channel, our bias remains higher. This suggests that an eventual break of the 132.47 level is likely to trigger further upside gains towards the 133.04 level with a clearance of that level allowing for more strength towards the 134.20 level, its Nov 18’2010 high. We may see a price hesitation there which could turn the cross back down. However, if that fails to occur, a resumption of its short-term uptrend will be activated towards its Aug’2010 high at 137.75. On the downside, a break back into its long-term falling channel will imply a further decline will occur towards the 128.28 level, its Jan 10’2011 low and even lower aiming at the 125.46 level, its Dec 2010 low..
