Steve, in latest version of OldBeast, could you pls check / confirm that u might have referenced if (Breakeven) twice in the ManagementAlter routine, the second one should probably be if (TrailingStop)

This was useful in that it made me look at the code and realise that the 5 digit crim stuff is unnecessary. Apart from that, it looks as though you need a change of glasses.

i have been using nanning bobs v1 for about a week on auto and have one loss of 100 pips.
I thought you said that 100 pip sl is not really the stop loss, but the stop loss is on the pivot points.

Steve, really appreciate your permission to post!!!!

I was one version back on the old beast, admitted, however the error still seems to be there - pls see attached screenshot. This will show trialing stop as being true in Alerts, despite it being set to false in code. Hope you don't mind my persistance..... And keep up the great work, really looking forward to the Mega-Beast!

I'm posting here as I'm new to using EA's let alone Nanningbob's work, but after looking at the following chart I'll watch from the sidelines for awhile.

How does the trend for the timeframe of the chart gets to be down at the time of the last red arrow and screen capture?

You may be still looking at an old version there.

Hi Steve,

Posting here to say thanks for Beastie as I can't post on your threads yet. The PDF and getting everything setup was as simple as it can be considering the complexity of the bot. I can't imagine the process required to code the thing! One question, AUDNZD bar count for counter trend trading is 20, is this correct? Seems WAY different to any other pair. I remember seeing questions about it before but not sure if its correct or not. If it is the right bar count, can someone explain why so different for that pair?

Set ECN=True if you think your broker is ECN. Mine is ECN and has been taking trades already.

Your broker is ECN if you cant set a stop loss and take profit on a standard market order but rather have to go in after and modify the order to add them (ie 2 stage brokers)

As of now I don't believe I've been vouched for and even if I have I wouldn't bother cluttering your Beastie thread with this babbling.

I just wanted tell you how well written your PDF was. I'm trying to absorb as much information as possible on this board and its people like you that really aid in the learning process.

I use IBFX and FXOpen. And for some reason I have not triggered any trades. I got TB working. I had some issues with TOB but that is now triggering orders.

Hmmm, don't really know what is going on.

IBFX is apparently an ecn broker, so set ECN=True for that broker. Fxopen I don't know.

Hi Steve,

Why not think about taking two trades when Beastie is Counter trending with the trend if you know what I mean and let the first act as a normal ctt trade and let the other trade act as if it were a Nanning Bob style trend trade.

Most recent beastie.mq4 update won't attach to the chart. When I hit compile, message received ... 'er'-variable not defined. All prior updates were fine.

In backtesting on the Beastie, on some pairs I get a "OrderModify error 130" message repeatedly.

Steve , the Beastie looks excellent...and I will test it with great pleasure...(on live backtest)....and I know you are very busy, but dont be angry coz I ask you please, (coz I know you have coded the day high-low EA), to recode it again so it can suit to all pairs and all criminals (actually that is the only problem with old ones), as I am watching days, weeks and months how " THE BIG GUNS" and dealers are pushing market just few pips above-below, previous days highs -lows....and make easy money, (with heavy lots,) they make millions, and we can make 100 -1000 $....maybe
