Perhaps to illustrate with a practical example.
If you trade patterns you will be familiar with quad formations.
I've noted that after a quad break out, price returns to the quad, following that you have a swing back to trend, then continuation or reversal. So centre quad would be a price attraction point.
To date i've witnessed this with every quad bo. If any one has an example where it failed, i'd appreciate a look in.Ignored
DislikedNot sure if the quad bo example is valid (though I am not any expert). Comparing the examples though, they do look different to me. The fist one by ppants looks like what I would expect a vaild quad bo to look like. The one posted by ha-pattern maybe not. I c a bo from the third box, not the fourth box. The return into the fourth box to me looks more like a return to consolidation before the more continues in the direction of the bo (first white arrow.Ignored
