To be profitable with this kind of system, all you need to know is when to close the operations at a profit!
We just need to put some outstanding transactions each day at the opening of Europe, with tight stops and not put more orders.

This report is from 2000 to today, awesome!

The good thing is that any given currency pair lost. We just have to have patience and know well placed orders, market opening is a good choice.

It's not posted here, it's my own version. With that said I ran a longer backtest and Oct and Nov of 2010 made nothing, the loss was minimal but still in order to trade something live you have to have confidence in it.

Even though a backtest rarely means much, it's a glimpse into estimated performance.

The main reason I posted those results and others are to get people thinking about ways to combat various episodes in the market like the big whip on IBFX on Friday even tho it was a fake whip.

If you don't think of ways to combat such events your chances are nil. This thread shouldn't be about what someone can get for no effort at all.

I don't mind sharing from time to time, but laziness and "let everyone else do all the work attitudes" don't fly with me.

Talk is cheap. Action is required. Hopefully everyone gets my point and look for ways to contribute to the original idea to make it better.
Yep,i get your drift.i agree with your explanation.
Just like i stated earlier,most threads that i am a member,i discuss facts.
But there must be a solid base,there must be something to get a hold of,to test in order to make contributions.that is why i asked fore the ea.
But i didn't know it is your personal/private ea.
I believe we need to help each other because there are too many factors against the small traders already.

I started trading live today using golden3 EA on EUR/USD

Settings: trade size 0.01 and pip distance 20pips

So far i been stopped out once for -20.

Hoping to catch a good trend

did u try any backtest or forward test on demo account?
Yes I did back test it but its hard to test properly as this ea has no exit strategy. So far since last nites up trend Ive netted roughly 200-250 pips. I just closed all the buys at London Open.

That is the good part of this EA. Good profit.

The bad part is me being stopped out 7 times since this morning on eurusd. Demo.

14 times stopped out now. Will stick with the trade. Lets see how it goes.

Ive stopped trading for now until I see a proper breakout its just ranging and its doing my head in lol when the times right I'll switch to the EA. Personally I thinks its got great potential we just need to know when its the right time to enter a trade. What are other people using to enter trends? indicators? price action?

Just a question about the ea, if you add a code so it will preset BS&SS orders. Example 5 levels in case of news and you have a fast price?
Is this possible?

Too bad this sytem can NOT be used with Us Brokers. But I will defineately look into cozbek's idea about opening orders on only 1 direction.

Had a bad start, problem with the internet falling out sometimes.. (I work at sea so its a very slow connection as well)

I was planning to set it to trade from EU open, and big news event. (Missed the big gbp move today)

So no valid test for me yet.. :/

How different is a snowball system which adds lots at every given profit then opening a trade with multiple lots and closing 1 lot and so on after trade reaches x amount of pips?

i want to thank you all, for all your effort and contribution in this thread, but i return to my manual trading, sorry for the the inconveniences.

using this type off ea´s whitout and underlying strategie doesn´t mean nothing.

here is my today trade E/J, stacking positions manualy (live and real account)

japan has been downgraded by s&p this morning.
