First thing I saw was the amount of money in the acc is to low.....I run a $100 penny acc which gives me a $10000 dollar (so to speak) acc which is allowed by my broker.
This bot will run,at times,alittle DD depending on pair selection,TF etc.....Giving it alittle room helps.

The account balance used is typical of what I would run a live account at, thats the reason for 3k
Plus I would run live with a mini account, but just can't find a broker that demo accounts a true mini .... do you know one ?

Yes.....D1 live.....14 pairs.......My broker is FXOpen and last check they do have a mini acc
SORRY.....Missread your post....They don't have a mini demo....But a $3000 demo is the same as a 30$ mini acc....

the order was placed on 01-04-2011 then the pair spiked up I'm ready to hit L4 on the thing

Yep, but I am only on L2
My order opened on the 5th ( probably because I reset demo's on the 4th )
Also have a sell on AUSUSD from 5th, L2 again

It happens quite often and DD is to be expected, but so far bot has traded them out eventually

EDIT .... dryclean, out of interest, which version are you using and have you got Scoob's set to true or false ?

I think there has been some confusion around the 'Scoobs Filter'.

The formula i use is the following:

Just to let you know I would not worry too much about the L2, L3, and L4 levels as over the last months the recovery's have done the trick to get me out of a bad position at break-even.
I know it's easy to say but been there many times demo and live.
Once L4 has been hit and the fundamentals are really against my open position I enter a pseudo hedge (same currency opposite direction) set to BE to avoid further DD.
