Tokyo opens soon, and I was reviewing the posts from today. I noticed that Fana was short the E/$ about 3118. Fana, did you flip that trade? Hope you are ok! Trade well everyone!

Hey guys my life is so f... hehehe. Now I am invited to a national team, but my coach is in very bad relation with slovenian federation. He said they are rude to him and he workouts of national team are not interested. He also said I my life is up to me, so I should decide alone, but I would have to be careful there, as stronger and bigger guys and lil bit more aggresive players. So I got no idea what to to :S I would like to train with national team, to get lil bit experiences and more workouts, but I trust my coach he knows me the best =D

Brazil’s central bank will offer tomorrow reverse currency swaps, the equivalent to buying dollars in the futures market, as President Dilma Rousseff’s administration steps up efforts to curb a currency rally.

The bank will offer 20,000 contracts worth $1 billion between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. New Yorktime, according to a statement on its website. Results of the auction will be published at 9:45 a.m. The contracts mature between April 2011 and January 2012, the bank said.

Reverse swaps, which Brazil last sold in May 2009, pay investors the overnight interbank rate in reais in exchange for a fixed interest rate in dollars. The central bank said it decided to sell contracts after a study of market demand.

“It will definitely have an impact,” Huang Kuo Seen, who helps manage 5 billion reais ($2.99 billion) in Brazilian assets at Mapfre Investimentos in Sao Paulo, said in phone interview. “The price of the dollar would probably go up at least in the short term.”

The real, which has surged 38 percent against the U.S. dollar in the past two years, gained 0.1 percent today to 1.6726 per U.S. dollar.
The government last week set reserve requirements on short dollar positions by local banks in a bid to reduce investors’ appetite for bets against the dollar. Finance Minister Guido Mantega said this week the government wouldn’t lose money by selling reverse swaps because he was “sure the real won’t strengthen.”

Policy makers in Latin America are trying to stem currency gains as fast economic growth and low interest rates in rich nations attract capital inflows to the region. Mantega said last week that Brazil’s government was ready to take new measures to prevent the dollar from “melting.”
“The futures are a bigger market than the spot,” Dirk Willer, head of Lain American local market strategy at Citigroup Inc., said in a phone interview from New York. Selling reverse swaps “has more scope to be more effective. They are drawing a line in the sand.”

I know the thread has gone way past this point but I've read it a few times and gave it time but still can not see it. I don't want to disturb the thread so if someone can help through pm i would greatly appriciate it.

Was just going leave it but then it would be my own fault for not asking for help.

Just read indept about structures, stability and what pi has to do with it.
If you have access, talk to any structural engineer. Otherwise just read about the pyramids.

Why are they worried about the weakness of the USD?
Are they americans?

Ya, is such a fcuk situation , people can buy 40 % more goods with the same BR now. Maybe they like to make it such that can buy nothing with it is better. don't you love it when people hates wealth.

oh, where do they store their riches??? i see.

So if you going to brazil for holidays, make sure ask for 50 % discount for everything, or pay in USD. That gives you 40+% discount auto.

Morning fti,

phew that is far beyond my experiences.
Largest skewing i was doing on real money yet was around 55.
And to honest, thats was not a very convinient feeling.
I guess it is called "to be in blue funk" :-)

There is a good chance, that we may find a top soon. We have not broken this resitance area since november last year. So at least some battle to expect, but also good amount of SL's above. But after the SL hunting could be a good entry then ....

Another wave up on the 5min.
Man, this is the type of market trend followers who would not exit till the trend dies would be most happy about, and fixed/precalculated profits takers would be left squeezing their own..

Its a torture to watch price run like that when you are out. All the scorpions are coming out, but they shall not control my physical body to do the click. The best consolation i have that i remind myself is that it doesn't happen often.

We should also keep an eye on UJ, cause BoJ will not be very happy with Yen getting too strong. So maybe this resistance will be defended strongly ....

Regardless how far price has gone already, the charts will tell you what to do. Finally there is no difference if the move is up for 10 minutes, 5 hours or 2 days. When the chart is ok - act!

Wow! I was having a rest yesterday and now i see new tops. Niels, thank you for stopping me there. I was exhausted from 24h trading. So today i will be only watching and preparing for the next weekend. Today i am going to buy a new tradin computer and monitor. Nonsense to have a disadvantage in this. Happy trading
