I personally see 5........I think the problem with most people who follow elliott method is they look outside in and not inside out again.....

You can only find wave 5 by time.......the peak of wave 1 to peak of wave 3 as one cycle will result peak wave 5 at 1.618 of cycle....

All gann squares, elliott, planets, are fib time related and each fib time measurement can be broken down...

All seem to point to a major Dollar low next year (approx) before a hefty reversal higher... The Cable one actually suggests the Dollar rally should last through to 2017...

I studied cycles and they say 3 cycles in every cycle can you explain why you have 2

I do not understand how we will have a dollar low next year then a rally to 2017........because we are now trending to see a new GBP or EURO low.......

If what you are saying is DOLLAR will rally till 2017 I agree it is dollar up as a longterm trend

Please explain more I would like to pick up a piece of your mind.....

Let me add your vertical lines the last three is one cycle so maybe every three vertical lines.........

The problem with EURUSD cycle is that the history is only back to 1999. Not only that EURUSD is quoted indirectly like GBPUSD but until 1999 the European currencies were quoted directly. Therefore there is no real reliable data to generate the cycles...

When I was taught cycles they were broken in to two. Basically primary cycles, half cycles and so on. The cyclic principles I was taught were summation (cycle energy can be added), synchronization (all cycle lows must match), harmonicity (that the span and energy of the next cycle higher is double) and proportionality (Cycle amplitude is related by 2.)

On GBPUSD all it means is that over the next 12 months we won't see it much higher - maybe it'll move in a triangle or make a minor new high. Then when the Dollar finds a low then it will rally against everything...

ah! It's just a matter of adjustment of viewing a wave structure... Once you begin to see the wave relationships on repeated 3-wave structures you'll never want to switch back! I cannot look at price structural development in any other way now - certainly not the original structure which from most counts are totally unable to forecast...

I am still learning about Elliot Wave and I was wondering if anyone has done an analysis on the USDCAD? Thanks heaps in advance!

I see enough data once I look at elliott pattern of currency and relate it to overall economy. It is also sufficient for my time analysis method.

I still don't agree cycles are 3 everything else you said is correct.

Can you refer me to your past reading and can you still tell us what are you doing .......

Maybe if I see how you are thinking I will understand .....I am a quick learner....

Did you try and see how the last 3 vertical lines may create a cycle.....

Can you make a forecast based on this analysis and can you create a trading strategy withit........give it a try....

I know I want to with my method but I don't have enough energy taking care of my business and all.......

I think when I feel energized I will post my NOSTRADAMUS time analysis.....I just want to do a good one and it's hectic because I don't label my charts.....so lot's of concentration on several level fractals

I do admit I have seen 3's but not consistently, occasionally 3-2-3 etc... I work with the larger monthly cycles and then rely on HEW...
