I heard that in december the market is crazy and its not good to trade in this month. Why is that? It seems to be true because my profitable M5 ea made 11 consecutive loss since dec 23

This period of time is a holiday season. Most major Fx players are taking their vacations and will be back early next year. But there are still some good movements this period, you got to be patient.

Managed Forex is the most important thing , personally i think Forex is Money Management and nothing else , read the article below they emphasis 1-Use of Limited Leverage
2-Don’t trade without placing Stop Loss

Just out of curiosity , Money trader started this thread with his loss news in 2007 & now he got training 1 month back .

Now want know how he doing with his 3-4 years of education. and if thread helped him or was he really willing get help other than attention drawn.
I see his recent post , may be reviving this thread after 3 years !!

If you really want to learn to trade, risk no more than 0.1% on your entries so that you still have an account to trade with while practicing and learning for all the years it takes to become proficient. You have been warned, dont come here crying for help this time if you dont listen

Good advice to any come here for help without proper care themselves & willingness to be helped, take advice & learn money management first.

first, market is relative to human perception. nothing and everything works in the market.

human perception is flawed. im hoping im not treading on Graeme's thread for posting this, but this has helped me getting over this emotional hurdle.

which is way is the lady rotating??

clockwise, counter clockwise, none/all?? please take some deep thought into this and apply it to the market.

For me, pipeasy's thread on this forum is a must read for anyone, regardless of trading experience. from my perspective, i think most noobs should reading someone else's thread first before reading Graeme's as it will help ease into it with less effort and grasp the deeper meaning between the lines.

but i cant post my teacher number 1's name here as he has a terrible rep on every forum. -.- but he is just that type of person: blunt.

looking back on life, how many times did you find the blunt person to be a better person in the long run?

The suffering that comes with that sort of loss is useful only if you respond to it correctly. You're in a position where there is a chance you'll try to double down to get the 7k back.

Do not do that!

Trading is a challenge.

Trading with a vendetta is nearly impossible.

That's right man! No one else seems to be bothered about that it happened to me 3 years ago ) I'm OK now people, Thank you! Resumed my education and doing pretty well on demo - 10 - 20% per day. Testing different strategies and analyzing my mistakes... )))

I learned my lesson. I am learning forex properly now. I will get my money back AND will earn much more, will show my statement in a few months. Everyone can learn how to trade, nothing is impossible. The main point is: LEARN PROPERLY BEFORE OPENING REAL ACCOUNT.

LOL....How can you be so sure that you are getting your money back in the first place, not to mention in the next 2-3 months...

I don't have any intention to let you down, but just trying to open your eyes that you can't fight the market and force it to do something you want or like...The market will still do whatever it wants to do....

yeah, now you're talkin, however i wouldn't expect that 10-20% daily to be too consistent if i were you. anyway, now that you have a much better understanding of the market, can we hear what method you're using? how much are you risking per trade to get those kind of profits?

off topic: that spinning lady gif in "inaccurate" (for lack of a better word), i've seen the illusion before and the lines between her legs (yeah that's where i was looking) aren't supposed to be there. the way it is here only makes sense if she is spinning counter clockwise with her left leg sticking out. its a really cool illusion otherwise, just google spinning lady, you can almost feel your brain flip-flopping.
