Both NDs spread are a bit too wide. The first is really a test of demand (not a strict vsa term). The second closes down so technically is not a ND at all........but maybe you can have a down bar as a ND...........aaaarrrrggggghhhh lets not go there

The up move is on low volume suggesting that it may be a mark up. Dr. G. is right to advise caution. Look for UT and NDs.

Thanks for your input.

I understand your requirement of No Demand bar, because the price didn't swing up a little to make a new high with the volume less than the previous 2 bar.

Low Volume??? Not necessarily Intel. My charts are showing me bullish high volume - relative of course.

Yeah, it fits my strategy pretty well, would've been in and out fairly quickly and would've been a nice start to the year! (only just gone live with my strategy)

Oh well, many more opportunities to come!

I'm looking at the M15 chart. It pushes on volume < prev 2 bars and drops off from there. If we get some volume coming in soon, It is likely to be sellers I think.

What do you think?

it is up to you, might have worked this time, might fail at other times. i am just saying pay attention. i never put money at risk prenews, there is enough to be made when the numbers are out.

Up bar on volume less than the 2 previous bars. This
indicates lack of demand from professional money. It is
important that this principle, called No Demand, is on an
UP BAR, a bar closing higher than the bar behind it, and
for the best short it should appear AFTER a MAJOR SIGN
OF WEAKNESS and in a DOWNTRENDING MARKET.
After seeing a No Demand bar, do not sell at market but
place a sell stop below the bottom of the No Demand bar.

Swissy and EUR/CHF interesting at the moment, a lot of volume. Looks like selling to me but need to see it unfold a bit more.

Probable bud.

If we see a surge in vol now it's obviously due to PMI news. In less than 1.5 hours we've done 100 pips +, 75%+ of daily range.

My opinion is that we would likely see a little retrace now before the next wave up.

Whilst that is what the book says you must remember it's all relative. Use your own judgement for the chart/set up that you're looking at.

I'm long at .3355. Stop moved to be +2. Looked like stopping volume on hourly (also a hammer), then almost a doji and now shaven bottom. But it seems that it has found resistance at .3377. Well 2 pips is also a profit .

It's my own psych downfall, you are an authoritarian figure so what you say has some impact which instilled some fear/doubt to take the long - so thats my bad really.

Anyhow, DR G do you have a view on the AUD? She just took a tumble and not sure how long it will last. S/r's are there but this is unchartered waters.

I have a holiday booked and being from Australia, dont want to see the AUD fall more

There seems to be a bit of buying in the last hour but approaching 1.3395 there was some selling from yesterday. Was your entry based on a no supply / test on a lower time frame?
