HELL to the NO-Prof. Intel- A high Volume upbar with the next bar showing a NO-supply with relatively high volume(re-tests will likely Happen) , and then a No-supply bar(lesser volume) with comfirmation within that NSbar and a SHORT trade setup still works out? it will never Happen .

Show me a chart or Give me my points..lol

I like to go short at the break of lows of a No- demand Bar within the Body of the HV upbar(If going short) . That Usually keeps me out of Bad trades ..

Still looking for that to Happen ...........

Also have to watch the High volume down bar on the 4 hr TF , we have to see it tested with a No- demand..

70 minutes more , to see if we get a Potential NO -demand ...

i got it, the first vertical line is a hv bar and the next is a nd,so i can put an short order under the ND right? but as for this chart ,the trade is not triggered ,right?

Yeah , NO-break(of the lows) Yet !!! Momemtum is still taking her up ..

But my Bias is still to go short , and it looks like we about to get a NO-demand
on the 4 hr chart (supports my short on lower 15/30 TF).

Nah, wasn't able to snag an EURUSD entry. I must say I find the PA incredibly annoying: hours of a 10 pip range, then a ~25 pip pop up, to a TL and key area, that under normal conditions looks like it would be the ceiling. We are after all in frankie fakeout with equities opening in <15 minutes - I'm really not sure what the euro would be doing much further up from here - real need buyers should be waiting for lower prices I'd think.

Did get a GU entry that took me just above the DPP, which now also looks like a fake breakout. As the week goes on, my 30-40 pip snag trades, are turning into 20 pip blocks ... sheesh!

Check out EU M5 this morning about an hour or so before LO. A high volume up bar followed by a NS within the range of the HVUB and an up bar confirming the NS. Then 3 bars later we see the peak of the rally then a good down move and profit for those that took the trade.

You started with zero points and I've taken 5 points off for arguing

wekaness confirmed and we had a high volume break of the 10m 20sma (yellow) with the following bar coming back to it beeing rejected. for now, we can use this sma pretty well as our supply line, trailing stops and potentially adding to the position if it plays out. the red diagonal also works well as supply line and should be respected, if we see more downside action.

hey guys i hear that mt 4 volume is bad,what broker would u recommend for me that provides the best volume data?,i dont have money for esignal,so thats out of question

stop is set to b/e +2. i won't close this trade out manually and so telling the market, how far it can go until it might reverse, market has to decide on it's own if it keeps me in this trade or not. we are slightly above yesterdays close, so no surprise we see a gangfight going on. worst can happen is, that i win 2 pips. missing an ongoing drop is far worse

last 15m gave a ND below the last lows.

I wouldn't say it's bad - you just want a broker with decent liquidity and ideally know who the provider is. FXCM, FxPro, IB, Broco are all supposed to be pretty good. (I think all the listed ones allow you unlimited length demo accounts) Remember, actual volume I wouldn't classify more than one-third of VSA - it's the relational differences between bars, along with the other chart reading aspects.

it depends, i mainly daytrade but i like to pick my entry in the morning (frankfurt, it is 10am here now) and ride it till london closes. 7 hours from now.

i have no targets, since this is predicting. just trailing the stop. when the trade has run in my favor, i switch to the 60m tf and simply allow for 1 downbar when i am long and one upbar when i am short. if the move is sustained it has to be supported, so you make sure you are in line with the money flow. so in the current case, if this trade here develops i check the 60 and if i get 2 consecutive 60m upbars, i close it out (except the 2nd one is fairly weak). if suddenly vol surges on the 10m i might bail out earlier. it is pretty much up to your own style and experiece.

Hey Dr Geppynius, although i don't use the 10 or 20 sma, but i do agree with you on the volume, there is apparently inherited weakness now. Just like this chart that i posted on my blog, so many selling until one fine day, i saw buying and accumulation took place, which caused this stock to trend higher now.
