The small green lines that you see on your charts are the break even lines. If you set the auto tp to 2, it means it will close the trades 2 levels above/below BE.

Per post 1, I downloaded sixthsnowball.mq4 and SIXTHS Floating SQ.mq4. I clicked on common_functions.mqh and offline_charts.mqh and downloaded them from 7bit site and put them in experts/include. The SIXTHS Floating SQ.mq4 compiles just fine, but the sixthsnowball.mq4 has 27 warnings. Anyone know why this might be happening?

There's no problem with that. Some of the modules were not compiled because it's not being used.

I calculate the stop distance by taking the distance between the sixths lines divided by 3. For the attached example, the distance between the sixths lines is 130. Divided by 3 is about 40.

I am using TMA now to trade this EA.

update on page 1 post 1.

Hey Lui,

very nice method, I thought of contributing a bit maybe to lower cpu hammering.

Have you seen this thread ? TMA = LWMA

http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...47&postcount=6

It speeds up their EA enormously ...

And I keep always thinking if one could implement a 4 level semafor indi to determine turnpoints even better ...

Cheers for your work anyway, xxl205

EURAUD is the big loser. I'm going to change the stop_distance from 20 to 30 pips for this particular pair. Let's see if this pair will improve or not.

Fwiw. I use the snowball ea as a trade manager. It works very well off daily charts (I use ew for direction)

You'll have a tough time getting a snowball on euraud. I find 30 pips works well on cadjpy, usdcad, eurusd, usdchf. Gbp pairs are tougher, may require more patient and larger like 80 pips. Usdjpy 30 pips too.

Thanks xxl205. This could be a key for integrating TMA with sixthsnowball.

It's basically sell high and buy low. Sell when the price is near TMA upper band and upper sixths line. Buy when the price is near TMA lower band and lower sixths line.

so if you only wanted to have the TmaMiddle, you should use:
TmaMiddle = iMA(NULL, 0, 56, 0, MODE_LWMA, PRICE_CLOSE, 0);
But if i place this as an LWMA, 56 , Close on the chart, it look much different than the TMA Centered middle line? So what should be the right code to get the middle line exactly as the TMA Centered indicator?
