DislikedYou might want to consider buying GBPJPY for the following reasons.
1. The GBP is at a big low against the JPY.
2. An earthquake has hit the pacific area.

DislikedScoobs GBPJPY has been basically at near its all time low from back in 08 for the most of this year though. Thanks for the headsup though! I'll definitely be on the lookout once the new year rolls through.Ignored
You can also allow TB to work out the trade closure line for you, by setting AutoCalcTradeClosureLine to true. This uses nanningob's volatility list to decide where to close trades. In his V5 thread, Bob posted this list:
TB lumps groups 2 and 3 together, so:
DislikedWhat I meant to say was that the GBP is too low against the JPY given current market conditions, it generally has an operating range against the YEN which is now broken. Taking this into account with the earlier goings on in the pacific region then there will be a positive retrace during the Asian and London sessions.
So, basically this is an ideal situation for a retrace of around 80-120 points (4 digit broker).

Dislikedalso with your latest version it just wont take any trades it seems. here the screenshot where it should take an order at the purple dotted line, and on the left side the pending trade display ea:

This is the downside of hiding our activities from the crim. When the trading window is passed, that is it; it is gone.
DislikedMine has taken trades mostly as desired today.
Remember that a robot cannot take trades when disconnected from the crim's server. These disconnections are hidden from a user viewing events subsequently; all we see is a missed trade.
These disconnections take two froms:

DislikedHi Steve,
As luck would have it I'm running a pair that doesn't show up in the NB low-vol list.......Can I take a shot at adding the EURGBP to the list or will the house of cards come tumbling down....

I have enjoyed a magnificent week trading The Old Beast live. The pre-Xmas week is a week that a lot of traders avoid like the plague, yet tob has made 1% and a really troublesome group of Recovery trades closed, (chfjpy) courtesty of the pair tanking yesterday.
So, as we approach the end of the year, things look absolutely brilliant.

Many thanks to all of you who have contributed so many useful ideas, tips, bloop edits and code help.
Equal pride of place go to: Bob, without whom we would not have had the Sixths indi and all that has flowed from it; macman, whose ideas sparked the evolution of The Beast only a few short weeks ago. It feels as though TB has been a major animal in my life for ever, yet it is only a short time in reality.
I am not going to try to name all the others. Inevitably, I would leave some out. You know whom you are; without you, my code would still be about -6 months in development.
There are contributors here who first started following my work when I was haltingly coding KG's basket trader more than two years ago. We have all grown and developed as traders. Some pretty terrific traders have enhanced our knowledge and understanding; again, you know who you are and our heartfelt gratitude goes out to you.
So, those of you for whom Christmas is a date to celebrate have a great time over the next few days. Even I am not going to do any coding for a couple of days - maybe even 3. Start watching for updates from Tuesday though; my fingers will have started to twitch by then.
I do not anticipate posting in this vein this time next year. By then, our accounts will be growing at a satisfying rate and I will not be coding 3 ea's a week. I wonder what I shall do with the spare time? Some decent piano practise would not go amiss. We shall see.
