Yeah, I noticed that, it also doesn't lag as much as I had suggested in my last post

Excuse me, what it means "lag"?

What I meant was that it would show a signal more than 1 bar behind the current bar.

Are you finding that using the 15/3 TFs is better than simple using the 15 and 5min or 15 and 1 min? Thanks.

On 1 min there are too many false signals.
On 5 min there are less good signals.
I thinck that the 3 min is the midway.

Hello Cubbybgood, thank you for sharing this trading system.

I want to know what is the setting do you use for the 12x12MA cross indicator?

Do you use the default setting (3,12,3,12) or do you use custom setting?

Thanks

Try to go to TOOLS then OPTIONS and check all except the manual confirmation.

I don't know if this is the problem.

Is there any alerts for the Signals.ex4? Most of the time, my eyes are off the charts

I had managed to made one of my top 10 profitable manual trades using 12X12

Now will like to try out 15/3 combo.

Nice work to the author of this thread as well as the continued follow up by Pipsnator.

And as a little thank you to both as well as an encouragement to continue the excellent research, I have attached a little gift for you both...

Merry Xmas...

For those wanting to use this method, which indy are you using on the 15/5m setup? The Signals indy or the 12x12 one? Also what settings do you use for the 12 x 12?

Cheers

I have not decided. For my trading style I still like the 12x12 on the 15/5. This is just my personal preference but Pipsnator has proven that this type of multi-timeframe trading style can also be profitable using the "signals" indicator on the 15/3.

It's all up to you what you like best and fits your style. Both have been proven to work well.

Today wasn't a good day to test.
Maybe it's better to take a break.

yeah, I do worry a bit about the longevity of this system and indicator. I hope that there will be more good days then bad.... Trending days are the best for this system. Today's ranging is no good.

Happy Holidays to you to Pips.

Hi Cubby,

I like the system, tried it out last night and made about 20 pips. When using the 5/15 method-lets say signal is long, you enter on the first long arrow on the five right? Can you enter the trade immediately off of the 15? Somtimes it seems as if you lose some pips waiting for the arrow on the five, but other times it retraces and its better to wait...

When I read the logic of this system behind, I thought of ma crossing, and I was right. That really is the thing!

I trade on 1M and 1M though using different MA's.
A successful trading depends on knowing what to analyze.

yes, I wait for the a signal on the 5 minute to get an exact entry. I do this to avoid any possible repainting with the 12x12 indicator and to also avoid any sort of draw down. Glad you made 20 pips. That's a great start. Make your modifications. Find what works best for you. What has been given here on this thread is just the foundation.
