PFGBest - DEMO Server Down for You Too?

I have a few demo's running on PFGBest that haven't activated today. You cant even setup a new account (looks like the server is down) - Anyone else experiencing this? I contacted their support and they said NO TECH GUYS ARE THERE ON SUNDAY!!! (Guess I'm crossing them off my LIVE list for sure! Scary if you have open positions that are tanking before the Techs get to work!! )

i have traded live with many brokers i can tell you there demo server goes down more then there live server, never stop me from opening an account, demo server is so much diffrent from live server, there trading and spreads are the same but don't base your dections on any broker demo server

Understood but since many people (myself included) depend on demo's to test trading strategies before going live I consider it a test of broker overall quality when I find a firm that strives to create demo conditions that are almost simulate trading live - I understand that the demo server gets shutdown more and gets first run at new plug-ins and test situations but to get the answer that there are NO techs around during LIVE trading hours raises a red flag with me.

Similarly MBTrading's demo environment right now is a complete mess (they restart and delete orders at will). I understand that when creating a new service but to not have anyone around to probably simply reboot a server sucks.

Seems to be down again :-(

I'm using the demo for some EAs that run on demo but will control some live money at oanda through some proprietary scripts that i have written (ugly hack)

PFGBest was always the one with the most reliable demo servers, almost no downtime and I recommended them to everyone who needed a demo server. But now I'm not so sure anymore.

Its a demo server, don't fret over the availability of a demo server. Their not real. Every brokers demo servers go down. Most demos servers are only one (maybe two) overly crowded servers with literally thousands of accounts. Some active but most are not.

They seem to have serious problems of increasing severity lately, I suspect its only a matter of time until this will become visible on their live servers too :-(
