Cubbybgood Hey! At the beginning I would like to thank you for a system that espouse. Come to understand the precise positions on the M5 after the interval as the interval H1 gets the signal right? Please write how the thing with SL and TP - how many pips? and are using the BE level ?

Hi guys, good to here from you!

So some are asking about SL and TP levels.

Here's an update. Real simple. Here's a pic that should help.
I also added some losing trades. This would be a bad day. I entered this trade on the first 5 minute down arrow causing only a 10 pip loss.

It's important to catch the 1st or 2nd arrow signals on the 5 minute chart right after you get and alert on the 1 hour chart. Make since?



Also, remember I set a 100 pip TP on all trades. If I happen to have a losing trade that's more then 20 pips I'll stop trading for the day and pick things up the next day. Most SL are under 30 pips.

Some times arrows appear on the candle and sometimes the candle after they appear. Not sure why this is. doesn't make a difference to the entry for me...

Hi guys, I'm going to experiment with using a trailing Stop on all entry's. I'm going to see if this can be a good option with this trading method.

I'm going to test and see if anymore profit can be squeezed out of this system.

I'm seeing that a possible 30 and 40 pip trailing stop on the EURUSD and GBPUSD could be beneficial to this strategy. It could lock you in with profit. The weakness of the original system is when a signal goes say 30+ pips and then a reversal happens causing a small loss when you get an exit signal. Using a trailing stop could be a way to avoid missing out on some good signals the indicator provides. More on this modification threw the course of the week. I will test this modification along with original strategy starting tomorrow morning.

I write this message so those testing the system can play around with a trailing stop as well.

it repaints too bad just went short but after 1:30 hours it wen back and the arrow disappear! hopefully will be working with the trailing stop.

Remember. I never said this indicator was perfect. It sometimes will repaint on the 5 minute chart. I would probably say that it repaints probably 10-15% of the time. Like I said, it's not a lot and it shouldnt stop you from profiting from this system.


As long as you are trading with the 1 hour signal or trend it really doesn't matter if you happen to catch a signal that repainted. As long as you make sure you exit when the trend changes on the 1 hour you should be fine. Yes, it may be a loss but you are trading the system correctly. I hope this makes sence.

My latest trade today. I think this is a great position. I got the first arrow after signal on 1 hour.

Because I got the first arrow after the signal on the 1 hour chart I think my chances of this being a winning trade are great!

I will take another pic right before I close this trade so you can actualy see live how it did, good or bad. I will post this sometime today.



Short update on the trailing stop. I'm going to be testing this all week. First trades using trailing stop went in last night. I got 6 pips on the EURUSD with a trailing stop of 30 pips. Right before I went to sleep I also put in a good trade on the GBPUSD. first arrow after signal on the 1 hour and I happened to get 40 pips on this trade while I slept using a 40 pips trailing stop.

Total was 46 pips so far using trailing stop

I had a feeling this would be a good trade. 40 pips so far. Lets hope it keeps going.....


I put 2 positions in on this trade.

1. This is my typical trade with a set TP of 100 pips. If it's not hit I'll wait for an exit signal that will be given on the 1 hour chart.

2. Trailing stop of 30 pips. Currently I've already locked in 20 pips adding the trailing stop on this trade. The trades currently 50 pips in the +

Looking at the charts I realizing that maybe using a technique similar to Tebs would not be a bad idea with this system.

Why not put 2 trades in with each signal.

1. First trade set 100 pips profit. If not hit wait for exit on 1 hour.

2. 2nd trade trailing stop of 30 pips for the eurusd and 40 pips for the gbpusd. No SL. If you get an exit signal on the 1 hour and your tailing stop has not yet been hit close it anyway. This way you get maximum profit with the trailing stop.

Doing this should up the chances of puling in profit on the bad days and allowing the good days to be great days. I think I will change the instructions on the first post to implement this change. I believe it can only be positive towards the system.

There is a draw back though. If the move happens to be small... say 20 pips on the eurusd you could have double the loss because your trailing stop was never hit at 30 for the second position. I'm betting on this not happening very often and I'm willing to take chance because of the change I mention just below.


I'm also thinking about changing the instructions on the first post to only taking the first 5 minute signal after a 1 hour conformation. This will allow for you to get maximum profit for the given position. Yes, less trades but more possible profit.

I'm sorry if this disappoints some of you traders. I know a lot of you including myself like to take many positions threw out the day. This really isn't the best idea with most forex strategies. This change is only to protect you and the system.

yes i know is not perfect just want to know how to do, the arrow disappeared but not the 5min one, in the hour i was short after an hour it disappeared so kept the last one who was long.

Trailing Stop trade just closed.

Profit of 30 pips!


Leaving second position in till 100 pips met or exit on 1 hour signal.

should work, but i think the trailing one no TP maybe you can take more than 100, if not will be mostly same.

2 positions taken on the GBPUSD. I took the first signal after 1 hour conformation.

Note, this arrow actually took a 1 bar repaint. not sure why but made no difference on my entry. It actually looks like I entered before the arrow appeared but it's because of the 1 bar repaint.


Remember...

1st position I set a 100 pip TP. If not hit I wait for exit on 1 hour.

2nd position I set a 40 pip Trailing stop on the GBPUSD. If not closed before an exit signal close it anyway.

No TP on the trailing stop position. Only thing you need to do is set the trailing stop. if not hit when you get a 1 hour exit signal then exit it anyway. This will give you more profit when there is a reversal.

I use only EURUSD and GBPUSD. Those are my fav pairs and they seem to work best with this system.
