I feel a certain amount of irritation reading some of the latest posts here. If contributors cannot even be bothered to keep up with my posts, then I have to wonder what they are doing here at all.
I respectfully suggest to some of you that you spend a little less time posting here and a bit more time finding out what has been going on. I am not going to repeat myself by re-posting information I have posted previously. Continued requests that I do so will lead me to add the requesters to my 'ignore' list so I will not have to put up with their inane ramblings.
I have spent what feels like an entire lifetime this week battling with code that seemed simple when I started, but has turned out to be far more complicated than I first imagined it ever could be. Ok, that is because I am a useless coder, but the fact is, I have put a lot of effort into all this.
So, try to imagine what I think of people who cannot even be bothered to keep up with my posts.
Then imagine this, if you have the ability to imagine so much; not many will. Multiply whatever you came up with in response to the last paragraph by 10. Even in your wildest dreams and most fearful nighmares, this comes nowhere near close to what I actually think of these people.

The New Beast is ready to morph into The Beast now, so the latest version is available in post 1.
I have spent much of today catching bugs with the aid of Strategy Tester - holes in my logic rather than coding bugs.
Details in post 1 and the updated user guide. Once The Beast has run on demo for a couple of days to prove the code, I shall be replacing the live-trading version with this one.

Steve - a quickie.. if Gpse and normal and aggressive are all on, will a the beast open a trades at all three levels ex a trade at gpse and magenta... OR, for example, if it opens at a gpse trade it will not trade at the green or magenta lines?
gspe trades should be closed by the time either of the other two kick in.
Looking forward, my best guess is that the Aggressive style will not survive for long. The great thing about mac's initial strategy is that the market has to move in the direction of the trade before it is triggered; all I have done is move the level at which it trades a bit further out to make trading conditions more stringent. 'Aggressive' trading removes this advantage, so we will have to see.

Steve thanks for the updated beast. One question: I didn't see an option field for ECN broker or not. Is this automatically adjusted for in the code now or is this something that needs to be added?
It must be easy to become confused here, because management thingies deal in 'hard' stops whilst the rest of TB deals in virtual stops and take profits.
This is because the management features are old features coded before I came to a true understanding of the barely-legal behaviour of the criminals, and the need to hide our activities from them.
Once we are sure that the main bit of TB is up and working properly, I shall turn my attention to the management features. It could turn out that the hidden stuff is all we need. It could turn out that we need more. Time will tell.
First thing is to ensure that TB works as intended.

Steve, a couple of questions
Have the gspe rouge trades been eliminated in this version ?
Have gspe desired revisions ( post 466 ) been included in this version ?
