Put in another way, when we look left for supply & demand zones we stop at & don't go past price bars that we come across.

By the way, eurusd, eurjpy, audusd..... prices steamrolled past a number of supply zones lately. I thought the larger timeframe demand zones are at 1.3050-1.3078 and 1.2970-1.3000?

So what did you do, did you close the trade after it reversed in front of your TP? If you did close the trade, how would it have turned out had you not interfered?

Did you take RNs or any other price structures into account when placing your TP? How far was your TP- was it a scalp or a longer term trade?

Euro is in an uptrend based on larger time frame demand supply so entry off of demand levels are the higher probability trades until around the 700 area then we might see some sell off (IMO).
Thanks for another great point. "once supply has broken they are no longer supply" All supply is is a stack of orders, and once that's gone there's nothing left to swamp demand, so when price doesn't react to a level that is just telling you that there isn't a significant imbalance of SD there.

I've been using the daily/weekly levels for areas to not trade into. I like to then use 1h and 15m for order placement going to and from the levels.

This is a perennial problem: price misses tp by just 1 or 2 pips and retraces; or price eats up sl, overshoots by 1 or 2 pips and then reverses

Hey guys, haven't been updating much this week it's been very hectic for me.

I thought that I'd have a chance to place some active trades but I only did one which was a loss on cable.

This is shaping up to be a terrible week, getting slaughtered with 0/6 so far.

As has been mentioned everywhere on FF recently (including recently on here by dragan) it is a dangerous time to trade being close to the end of the year.

I still have a bunch of orders including an EU long that is 8 pips below price right now. I think I may sit on the sidelines till it's safe again.

I don't like the idea of sitting on the sidelines after a string of losers because generally speaking that is not the time to change what you're doing, but being the last couple weeks of December it might be wise to either severely reduce exposure or even not participate till the new year.

What do you guys think?

this week drove me crazy too,i got out of positions quick missed out on 300 pips in 2 days,god damn,now im down 50 pips on usdjpy

as forexlive.com mentioned,.december is a killer for trend traders because of lower liquidity ,but its great for skilled traders who know their way through market
