Lesson on rigidity from our Fti

Actually you can learn little from the chart, although you can see some of the methodology used. If you charted another session with me, it will look totally different. This is because there are other factors involved that are not on the chart, eg dance sequence, pip pulse....frame of mindset, influence of fundamentals. Moreover the trade skew are dependant on strategies imposed, state of book. All these are not on the charts. If you tried to mimic the attack,you will become rigid and thats dangerous.

Thats why you have to babysit trades, and I take sometimes for walk abouts. You nee to feel the situations to understand.

You may be shocked that if you followed me for some walk abouts, i may liquidate the position early due to that I may have a stomach ache and had to go to the wash closet. So it is better to ride along than studying the historical performance.
From the chart, can you pick out where, I came back from dinner. Or when I was chatting on the thread and misses the markets entry.

In perspective , being new to the methodology, you may like to reference it for understand of the principles involved.
It is important not to be robotic or mechanical about the the use of it.
Read the thread carefully and understand it,
then demo its use to familarise the skills required.(orientation)
There are much lessons the markets will teach you, if you pay attention and learn.
Then if you have become confident enough in yout skills,
Test it on smallest positions that is available to you, That is necessary for development of the "greed & fear" emotions that you will not gauge from demo.

I managed to find reading price charts bar by bar and TA of stock trends, but can't find compound chart patterns and power bar....

i'm not sure about char patterns... i'm not actually following those... i'm sure if you read through the first 100 pages or so at TAF thread... the chief mentioned it there and also other members shared some links for free downloads and other good materials too... or maybe you can check amazons...

the only chart pattern book i had ever read was m. pring... but i don't really read them as such...

Thanks for the prompt reply! yes, i've read through the first 100 pages or so... But due to my full time job, I can't dance fully since I have to focus on my work.... At least the good thing is everyone in my firm trades, so we're allowed to trade during working hours.

And one more question though - Which TF do you use to identify major trends? And how do you analyze it? Hope you can help... Thanks in advance!


p.s I lost quite abit on forex as well, just like how you did at the start (thinking that it's quick money), but your trading journal and successes so far is inspiring me to do as well as you, so thankyou!

normally looking at daily, 4h and 1h for direction then dance on 5m...

Hi dongsky, just found your thread loved or should i say love it, I too have lost alot and find this method interesting. I went to fti's thread to start where you started and found it is 1300 pages!! was wondering where to start but read further in your thread and found your suggestion. But you also mentioned a summerised version? is that still available?
Thank you for sharing i'm about 20pgs in and will continue and hope to dance soon.
