Vincy, please comment. I see on monthly chart possible triangle ABCD -E? But both directions are possible - double zig zag to E or double zig zag UP. Just put some of the fibos and endings - they are similar and the zig zag behind also - may say more. Exact letters are your thing. I take it simple with ABC for now.

Based on the "Rule of alternation" we can`t expect the same pattern (ZigZag) again. The alternatives are a "Flat" or "Triangle" for the actual count.

I use only basic of EW and i depend on my system but i have question here on your chart Can we c ABC UP Then followed by ABC Down??
I mostly C ABC up then 5 wave down

Hi Sixer,

I just open the book on double zig zag but past has 2 ways - 1 UP and 1 DOWN, but I think the last zig zag down is to long to go more up. I put 50% line (middle line) to have some mathematical resistance - red line (3066). This last wave up is not over and here is place for abc correction (normally) - if I use Fibo time line we have 2 weeks time for this abc - last time was simple zig zag, followed from LD or 5w structure down.

From the point of international money politic - if we go to high or low for longer time - somebody will have trouble (US or EU) - winner just China, India..., therefor I think we will stand for longer time between 1.18/20 and 1.42/45. Vincy's wxy......followed from all dictionary

Lets look at a daily chart of the EU and see what been happening.
As you can see from chart 1 we have an ABC where A=C because B was no more than 38.2 retracement.
What can we now expect from this move?

You can see where price is contained by the 20sma, almost for now… if we are to follow our basic ABC pattern then we may be in the beginning of another ABCpattern or something completely different.
If we are indeed in the process of another ABC it will be the B leg I am looking to trade from

Now lets look at the 4hr

The 4hr tells us our price points from looking at the MA’s we have the 200 at 3100 the 20 at 3150 and the 50 at 3750 we don’t need to be exact here in the numbers, our fibs will give us those soon.

Next you see two possible 4hr fib counts
The first from top to bottom shows a very strong move down and if we are looking for an ABC again then that would be an A leg but its too powerful to be an A or C would have to drop 800 points from where we are now and that’s not going to happen so then we look for the New leg A from the bottom, chart 2 fibs

On chart 2 we have a 400 point move and if we do see a drop and consolidation then this move would become the new leg A, the drop B to a min of 38.2 at 3250 and C then would be equal to A and come in at 3650. NOW if we only get a 23.6 pullback and then the C leg it would take us to the 50SMA right at 3750, I like this scenario better because it follows the SMA’s off the 4hr charts and I expect will hold this rally.


Remember the majority of moves will come at 2am est 7am est or 11am est, I have been saying this for years and for good reason. That’s when the German Dax futures markets comes online the European futures markets goes offline and the London fix and the Chicago futures markets are forced to react to the fixing of oil and gold prices in London.
Look at any chart and you can plainly see these moves.

do not know all the stuff you teach VB, I must stick to the basics and look to you as the expert to expand on my limited outlook from the PA/FIB out look

I know I put just C as high possibility for this wave. I can count it also as 1234 but this last correction (small "a?") is to high to see it as 4 - I think. If those waves are repeating, then is time for some zig zag + LD or 5w down after "abc" correction now or combination of wxy (in my count we are in "a" high probability just in 3-th wave waiting for 4,5, b down and c up with a=c if not "running market" to finish B or X in my count), but those waves are also possible to count as ABC or WXY in larger scale (holding 3w structure in triangle?)- AND I am also not shore with this triangle - just Fibo say high probability. If u take a look to the history of this pair, those waves are repeating all the time (1x small 1x larger - 150 to 161.8% Fibo or reversely large small).
What is your count?
