Hi, Chris. Hi, everyone.

Chris, I’m newbie on this and I feel myself too confused about drawing a PPZ and S/R areas. I didn’t used these things before, and I want to learn it. But every time I look at my charts I see so many lines, zone and areas… and I don’t know which of them I have to choose. Sometimes I see them very clearly, but sometimes my mind blow up. Can you clarify it for me, plz? Below my chart with some areas. Are they valid? Or I missed something? Maybe there are some minor lines that had to be plotted? Or all of my lines are scribble?

Which lines or areas would you draw on this chart?

By the way, it's weekly.

Well, I would call it soccer, but it would get a comment or two about how it's not called that - even if soccer is a British term.

And besides, World Cup is much more important!

I am attaching a chart of the EUR/USD.....seems it is time to sit and wait to see what it does in the circled area. Might not get there today, but I would love to see it retest the trend line in the next day or two.....

Where is Samer based again? Do you think he paid off Fifa for the Qatari bid so that it comes to the Middle East?

I think Russia has a lot of potential if as you say the bureaucrats do not make is all about theft however I don't have great hopes for that happening. Interesting Vlad Putin stayed at home for the announcement, obviously wanted it considered an arms length transaction for accounting purposes

I have friends living Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and Saudi at the moment and a number in Dubai. They all play golf in airconditioned golf carts in summer because it's not possible to endure 18 holes and still maintain any semblance of concentration in that heat. Some of these guys are born and bred there too. Obviously the whole country is not a desert but it doesn't need to be in that heat.

That 1.3465 area in the EUR looks a nice place for a short to me CW.

CW 1.3350 looks like a PPZ to me on the daily and above, your rising trend line (if you take it from the candle close rather than wick bottom) and the falling trend line from the 1.42+ high to the most recent high around 1.37+ all intersect @ 1.3350-1.3380 area.

Difficult therefore for me to tell if this price action is more likely to be retesting a rising trend line or just retesting a PPZ at the lower level.

Interested in your thoughts on this.

Thanks mate and enjoy your weekend everyone. I can see blue sky and what appears to be a particularly bright light source in the sky (maybe it's that sun thing people speak of......) after days of snow. I am going to check out of trading for the weke shortly.

LOL I wish i could .
i dont trade much my friend these days ,trying to follow what my doctor advised me . I went trough 2 cardiac interventions lately and now i have 4 stents in my heart. so i m taking it easy on trading these days .

Honestly, you are over complicating it. (Which is normal for a trader....lol)

Here's the thing: It doesn't matter to me which one of these two are going to prove to be the reason for weakness - just as long as there is one. I might even park the stop behind 1.35 anyway, just so I have both potential areas as protection. (Assuming we get a sell signal.)

To be honest, this looks pretty good to me for S/R lines. As a side note, your zones are almost always going to end with "00" or "50". For example: 1.3100, 1.3250, 1.3300, and 1.3450. Those would be typical zones in the EUR as an example. (Just an example, for demonstration.)

Another thing that tends to happen over and over again in the "10" multiple pairs (where the pip value is $10 a pip, like the AUD/USD, EUR/USD, and NOT the JPY or CHF pairs.) is that they seem to like to find major S/R at the 500 pip mark. For example, EUR/USD has 1.30, 1.35, and 1.40 as major areas on the weekly chart.

I would wait to see what happens at 1.35 myself.....but I am kinda interested in the EUR/CAD weekly as well

When i see your charts they look excellent and keeps bringing a question in my mind on how do you infer the trade to be a runner or a trade to take quick profits. Like in my previous post how do I know whether to take quick profits. I mean how do I set big targets. I don't get troubles bagging 50-100 pips in a trade but when I see the run that followed it makes me feel bad about closing the position.

Sir I know that you are the mogul of runners at forex factory. Please arrive soon for the help

It would be excellent if you could show it with EUR/USD as an example because it would help me setting my big targets

The truly funny thing is that Sweden had a player named Dahlin that looked like OJ Simpson. That was right after OJ had that whole, "oops I killed my wife and had a wired standoff" thing.

I remember being at games where they would show highlights on the big screens form Swedish games and the crowd would chant "OJ! OJ! OJ!" every time they showed him. It was an absolute riot.

And Sweden had a great team that year. I didn't get a chance to see them though.

I was stuck seeing Switzerland/USA, Holland/Ireland, Holland/Saudi Arabia, Holland/Brazil, Belgium/Germany, and Ireland/Italy if I remember correctly.....
