Its tough to say really because PA was at the top of a recent range with an UT, it could easily have come back down. It was a bit tricky this one. Best to sit out when I can't make my mind up.

For G/U, Buyers coming in, esp since London open.
Any down moves from yesterday were absorbed, no real down moves from any of yesterday's longer down bars.

The News just now gave it a quick kick up.

Now may look for Long on any NS or Test of lows.

I think the short term for EU is up.

Theres a reduction in volume on the up move now. Try going to M5 for an entry for a few pips.

Also, do u always look at the close of these bars when confirming the weakness?

The setup can be revised by experienced VSAers after all, life is not always by the book. But, the 'by the book' setup should be mastered BEFORE you try 'messing' with it.

No, that is a short setup forming but we were missing the last part of it, the UT confirmation. The bar was still forming tho, thats why I put a question mark next to it.

Hi, is that indi on your chart called "marketprofile.mq4"-- i have it and it looks like that.. but i do not know what the red, yellow and blue colors represent, and how it works.. can you teach me pls? Thanks.

Because of the weakness in the background, then we get ND bars and UT`s in that area.

My 25th VSA Trade (Live).

Executed Order.
GBP/USD - Short
Date: 30-Nov-10
Time: Alpari 17:45
Entry: 1.5568
Initial SL: 1.5598 (-30 pips)
Initial TP (A): 1.5538 (+30 pips)
Initial TP (B): 1.5508 (+60 pips)

Reasons:
Note the Red vertical line, the bar after this line is my signal bar.
M15 show wide Upbar with high vol showing Weakness, UpThrust.
There was No Confirmation on M15.
Saw M5, got the Confirmation UpThrust down bar, then a No Demand.
Enter Short based on M5 chart.
Hull Green on M15 & H1.


Attached:
M15
Entry (small Yellow horizontal line),
Initial SL (small Red horizontal line),
Initial TP (small Green horizontal line).

I will inform of exit result no matter it is profit or loss.

Final Result.
The above order (A) hit SL: 1.5598 ( -30 pips).
The above order (B) hit SL: 1.5598 ( -30 pips).

** Please comment on analysis.

Trade Management:
- The time was around USA lunch, quiet time, not good to enter.
- And there was No Price Momentum that went down.
- Also enter on M5 because missed out on earlier short action that had an excellent run down.
- Here the problem is "missing itchy action trigger".
- Really should NOT have entered.
- Went to bed after entry.

Please comment on how to improve this trade ??

I would stick to 1 TF for all aspects of the trade foxy, you'll get a better indication of how the trade is forming. If you do use a lower TF for entry, ONLY USE IT AFTER THE FULL SETUP HAS FORMED ON YOUR ORIGINAL TF.

However.....

EDIT:- forgot to mention the lack of weakness in the background.
EDIT 2:- sorry foxy, forgot more!!! I like the ND to come within 3 bars of the UT. If not, I will start to re-evaluate.

Just itchy hands in this case.
Will stick more with M15.

We didn't get the confirmation we needed so, no setup and therefore no entry.

Nothing wrong with M5 if you want to look for setups there. Your personal preference.
