If anyone knows of a way to predetermine these arcs, come forth out of thine hiding place.

I'm form fitting these spheres to select pivots and finding that not any ole' sphere will do the trick. Hmmmm.....

Hello Kapital,

To do what you saw in earlier charts, I use the Fib Arcs tool on MT4. The Fib settings are standard. The swings that they are applied to are the same swings I use for drawing Pitchforks.

After that, it is just a matter of looking to see how price respects the arcs. Have you tried it?

On your platform, do you have the Fib Arcs tool? Don't know how it is applied on AccuCharts, but on MT4, they are applied like you would a retracement. Once the arcs are present you would look for touches like you do with Pitchforks.

Accucharts has the fib arcs tool, however the arcs don't remain fixed whenever I have to zoom in or out on the chart.

I haven't made use of the MT4 platform much at all.

I have never used AccuCharts. Maybe there is a free trading software you can try it on, but that is what I have done. Try a Demo account with a company that offers MT4 perhaps. It is great to see price move in real time. Just amazing! It will make a believer of those who think time isn't in the mix when they see price respect a line/arc like clockwork (pun intended ).

Here is what I have for UsdJpy H1. Had to zoom in so you could see the arcs. Otherwise, the lines look straight because the arc is so big on an H1.

Usually, the center of the smallest ellipse is one end of the price swing being used. In this case, the other is the top of the swing at the 100.0 level at around 83.80. It's about applying the tool to swings just like you would for a Fib retracement or applying a Pitchfork using the line of force.

Does that help?

Wonderful! Care to post a sample? Some platforms draw the ellipses so that they look like a clock on a wall, not flat like these look. It's all the same.

Great! When price reaches a line (or gets close to one) expect a change of some kind: either a reversal, consolidation or a zoom. Note the time that the line corresponds to, not just the price represented. What we forget is that in an x-y Cartesian coordinate system, two things are being represented by the same point. No more doodling . According to Gann, time is price and price is time. Now you have your radar.

Is the yellow arrow the other end of the swing you used?

Yes, that's the 3-D view. Now you're beginning to have as much fun as I had this weekend . When we say, "Price is falling..." we can add dimensions to make it look like it really is. Interesting huh? Even though price is not a tangible like the ball, the energy that is being transferred can be accounted for in either case. This is what got Babson and Andrews going: price is a vector (magnitude and direction), so apply the Laws of Newton.

Still have some info. from Auxesis I want to digest about 3-D. It is in an earlier post here. It's a good feeling when progress has been made. Like seeing how this is working in real time.
