Indicators.

We need a programmer to create a indicator that read a file with astronomical dates in Excel and draw lines on the graph.

Suryananda, can u plz, tell me where should I place the files. I only know about .mq4 files which have to be placed in indicator folder. but where should I place .dll & .mqh & application file ?

I'm reading it from the past towards the future, and I will get in the present moment after some time..

I'm studying astro + markets(forex mainly)
I'm studying for some time now (some years)
I use mainly mt5 now

I've downloaded the files, but after compiling, it keeps asking about vozrast.mq4 which I cannot find.
I'm not yet sure what these scripts do anyway...yet

I struggle with mt4/mt5 because I cannot find something better.
But because it's lacking some essential feats that I really need (see below), I have a question for you:

Is anyone aware of some charting software that has these features?
- calendar days (seeing the gaps in weekends) (this way planet lines and other calendar days-based lines would be smooth, without glitches)
- possibility to import charts from csv files (or whatever files)
- possibility to create custom indicators
- possibility to use external dlls (for swiss ephemeris dll)
- possibility to draw objects on chart (especially text boxes and custom objects)

I try to find such charting software for some time now, and right now I have no option but to ask around.

If the post is too long, sorry.

I'll be back with questions and ideas later.

If you can let go the requirement of creating indicators/using externals and want charts to play with end-of-date data with imported CSV files, try Gannalyst.

You can just play with your indicators in MT4/MT5 as a supplement.

Astronomical positions in File CSV to Experts>Files.

We need a programmer to make a indicator that read astronomical ephemeris in csv file and draw lines on the chart.

I can upload csv files with ephemeries.

I already have Gannalyst installed.
While it has some interesting capabilities (those related with Gann), its usability is so low.
I cannot move the chart with the mouse, I cannot measure prices like in MT4, and some other important needs.
Plus, I want to be able to programatically create some stuff I can imagine, but have calendar time in there.

why give ephemerides in csv file when there's swiss ephemeris?
Are you referring to some dates filtered by some other means?

Hi,

There is no good program for market and astrology. All are poor and weak. Neither are true astrology.

Modern astrology is not helpful, study Vedic astrology and medieval Europe. I work with Spanish medieval astrology books, centuries XI, XII and vedic astrology.

I recommend first read the book by David Frawley: "The real astrology."

I also recommend taking courses in medieval and Indian astrology.

Robert Zoller, David Bendykes, the web Renaissance Astrology, etc... They are good astrologers giving courses in English. For Indian astrology Dirah Academy.

Also in this are very good books.

I mainly trade the Eur/Usd. I don't know much about astrology, but my wife has been studying it for about 15-20 years. Are there any planets that correlate to the Eur/Usd, or anything in particular that should be looked at when trading this pair.

Are you referring to John Frawley? I cannot seem to find David Frawley and that book.
I agree about vedic astrology, but terminology of it is.... beyond me.
Medieval I guess I could dig into it, thank you for that.
Somehow I see medieval european astrology being too dispersed, being a relicv of what it was.
Plus, all ancient writers have the style of writing which impinge the reader to study for himself.

And about the software, this was my opinion too.
I thought: "why don't we plan one first?, then we will manage to create it somehow"

Yes, I was referring to John Frawley, the British astrologer.

European medieval astrology is of Arab origin. Medieval astrology is completely consistent. Formal study needed to understand it. Vedic astrology is of Greek origin. Works well.

Modern astrology has no predictive value. Pluto or Neptune lack of light and do not work. Astrology is a system of light and not of gravities.

To understand the EURUSD or any other currency pair is looking to implement worldwide astrology. The annual regencies and lunar revolutions.

Financial astrology programs offered are planetary ephemeris. No value astrological reading. Astrology is a symbolic reading of the planetary positions.

Knowing enough about medieval astrology can hit 80% of the movement of currencies but the study is not easy and requires years of study and dedication.

That was the secret of Gann.

Would you share how did you come up with the 80% hit and what techniques would you consider from medieval astrology that modern astrology can not offer? Retrograde phenomenon and few aspects between slow moving planets are the only techniques showing change of trend within reasonable time band... Sergey Tarasov (Air software), Raymond Merriman( mmacycles.com ) and Francis Bussiere ( astrocycle.net) are few of the good ones in the field of astrology and cycles....Let's please share more practical information... So far this thread has been less about trading and more about basic astrology and non consistent methods...I would suggest that we really share knowledge in a form of simple research and for example I would start with the upcoming Uranus Direct motion on Dec 6th (everyone can find free ephemeris at astro.com )... and here the dates for the last 10 years:


EUR/USD

10.26.2000 - yes, major change of trend
10.30.2001 - minor change ( top of a 23 TD cycle)
11.04.2002 - no, I can not see any change of trend
11.03.2003 - minor change (bottom of a 17TD cycle)
11.11.2004 - minor change (bottom of a 20TD cycle)
11.16.2005 - yes, major change of trend
11.20.2006 - no, the only thing I can note is heavy "buy"s in the following 3-4 days
11.24.2007 - minor change ( top of a minor Head and Shoulders cycle)
11.27.2008 - ? minor change -1 day, major +2 day, following heavy "buy"s
12.02.2009 - yes, major change of trend
12.06.2010 -.....


10 years - 3 major CIT, 5 minor CIT and 2 questionable

We have to keep in mind big aspects near by this times and other events which can make our study more complex...

Can we place a trade based only on Uranus Direct? - NO
Is it worth knowing this phenomena? -Yes

Obviously this can work only to supplement out technical analysis.....
