I'm a little bit shocked by my self ...
that volume might lead you to your own drawdown... since you do close position sometimes with only 10pips per position...

Hmmh - have not thought about that before, cause I never was aware of my traded volume. This high volume results of my PowerDance MO, which has some similarities with scalping, but based of fti's MO with Attack and rescue.

But you are right, most of my trades are based on M5 and M1 momentum and therefor ~10 pip moves only ....

Trading sizes from 0.1 Std Lot to 20 lots and very seldom 30 lots ...
Average position has 0.6 lots

don't get me wrong but i dance with 5m too but if permitted, i usually bring my troops to at least 3x15m candles

in my experience with EU &EJ when a good trend normally runs 3x15m candle before corrections or consolidation and run again... just like a breather... that's the reason sometimes i just scale down my exposure and let go of my other troops on a higher terrain (that is trailed stops-at least +10pips locked in)...

maybe its just me...

Now it's moving. GBP going down. JPY going up. But very slowly!!!!
I see U are having a good day. Today the first time this week that I am in good profit. I hope my lossing cycle is coming to an end. I have been following Niels advice and trading with very small position sizes. Ray

I am now finished trading for the day and I want to end the trading week on a good note. With the holiday weekend in USA anything could happen in the NY session and I do not want to give back today's profits. Have a good weekend and I see you next week. Ray

Seems there is really a misunderstanding. At least the line <100 mio should match with you

opening 1 lot = 100.000 USD volume
closing 1 lot = 100.000 USd volume again

25 trades a day = 25 * 100.000 USD * 2 (for roundturn)
= 5 Mio per day
22 days * 5 mio = 110 Mio per month.
so you would get 0.5 pips spread + 3.5 USD comission per lot ...

BTW: was only dancing directly around London opening.
Market is very bumpy today. Most americans have taken this day outside their office too.
No liquidity. No trading impulses ...
