Hi Norman,

I am looking to open an account with LCG. I've been watching a zero balance live account in LCG and have been impressed with their consistent low spreads in the majors.
1.They have mentioned that the minimum account size is $20K. Is that non-negotiable?
My trading size is typically 0.2 M to 0.5 M Lots. (I am a scalper and have a good Money management system in place).
Based on your experience, could you let me know if their liquidity pool can handle this-say during asian session?
Also, you have made a negative mention about their service, how good are they in responding to your queries?

Hi Scalper,

Sorry I don't know what the minimum account size is..You may want to check what the minimum trade size is, I'm not sure if they will allow you to trade 0.2m...

You will have absolutely no problems re liquidity during the asian session with that trade size...

Re the service...They will answer your queries promptly if you call them up, I am being a bit picky, but I have received better service in the past..

The $20K is absolute minimum, I dont think you can negoiate that, other then commission.

The minimum size is 200K.

I wouldn't be worried about your deposit with LCG, I had over a million in an account with them and it all came back.

You always can negoiate commisison, but $15 mio is good already (to start with), especially with the spread they offer.

No I don't, I left to chase some investment capital elsewhere.I would go back in a heartbeat though.
I have just opened a MT4 demo account with LCG. I'm having a hard time finding a good broker for my scalping strategy ... maybe this is the one ?!

is it correct that they have no dealing desk and trade against clients on their currenex ? i mean do you noticed something like that while trading with them ?

what is your point of view about LCG?

i look to go live with them and they say the Funds are held at J.P Morgan their Prime Broker. Spoke to J.P Morgan personally and the say LCG induce lot of volume to J.P Morgan. maybe they are tier. 2 to collect volume for tier. 1 like J.P Morgan and serve smaller clients who are not accepted by tier. 1

it looks like there are not many live with LCG to trying find out whether they are reliable or not .

Do you wire directly to J.P.Morgan ?
Yes they are reliable, they are tier 2, and JP is there PB.

I am also considering moving over to LCG, so any further input on this thread from existing customers is greatly appreciated.

As I have said before, I would go back to LCG in a heartbeat. Yes they are a Tier 2 broker and yes they are supplied with liquidity from JP Morgan. My belief is that they pass all clients trades on to the market, but there is no way of knowing for sure.

The commension fee I was told is 16/m by the head,Gavin.
He didnt response if the deposit's location is in USA.

i emailed him to ask about automated trading and he didn't reply...

Before I asked him about currenex servicer low's speed in other country, he seems is a busy or lazy person.. no response.
but yeserday I applied to open an account in LCG. the processure is operated by other stuff. I will ask them question again...
