A very good trick to learn my system very fast is to download history data then scroll back in the past and move the chart slowly with the mouse each time an arrow appears stop, look if you take the trade or not and continue to scroll the chart slowly and see if you' were right.

since it doesn't repaint it's exactly like live trading ;-)

the rainbows on oanda plateform and MT4 does not look same but it's normal, just trust MT4

Are you using the method solely in 5 min TF
or do you still go down to 5 sec on oanda?

I look for signal in 5min TF only, i never switch to any other TF and if i think this is a good signal, i look to my 5sec chart on oanda for good timing entry.

all strategy has slow days, today was one of them... :-)

check out the stop loss each times moved above long orders and below sell orders as soon as possible...

everything is already explained in the first post, don't worry about the last 5sec chart i posted it was just to show you how i use stop-loss.

regarding the template i just removed some MA's in the middle i think it's more easy to recognize good setup like that...

I missed it, here is the main problem with this trading style, I can't spend all my life sticked to my screen waiting the good setup.....

Have you set up an alert. Signals are quite rare. This is a nice price action strategy

yes, the indicator rings when an arrow appears but i'm not always sticked to my laptop...

Can you get one that emails to your phone?

probably but i should have missed the good entry, the time to find a connection, boot the computer, connect to my trading account and so on...

you can't dream about a better setup, check out the long red candle just before the arrow... the yellow MA's stretched and the green and red MA's compressed:

the only wrong point on this trade is: where the hell we do have to set the stop loss... yes, hard decision...

and YES, i missed it again... i have a life...

since i'm not there to sell anything and do not project to be a trading mentor or anything like that (lol), i gonna stop to post charts in this thread...

of course this is not the holy grail, there is not...
of course it's really boring, but remember boring trading is winning trading.

you will always find an answer at "why this trade failed ?"
you can always find an explaination at this question... it's all about interpretation... just train your eyes to learn what are the good setup ;-)

many good systems fit with some people but do not fit with others.

just try it and get pips.... or not.
