Actually you do have it It is a combination of factors, however I become suspicious to anything that goes beyond the second daily pivotal resistance/support. That's one of my main signals that market might be getting too overextended and a correction should not be far away. As almost anything else, of course, that should not be considered as rule of thumb.

Sorry for being quiet this morning and yesterday afternoon session - dancing with cable for all the time. She is holding my hands strongly.
Till the 3rd test of 1.63 level last night (Asian session) I went short.
Just right now I try to rearrange my troops to be preppared for the GBP news in about 40 minutes.

Was using that type of market sentiment, while I was trading stocks many years ago, but have not spend any time on it, since I'm trading FX .....

Wild market this morning, still managed to profit from it (actually a good one) on a demo. Anyway, one has to be extra nimble. In such market conditions it's hard to determine a direction.

Hi Bear,

yeah - 3 kgds do not deliver any clue about direction right now. At least I'm not able to read them. After rate decision from BOJand no furtvher expansion of their QE programs, market seems to be not sure, which of the 4 currencies may be the most intersting right now ....

At the moment I'm scalping the small cange aroung 1.62 level on Cable.
But I guess it will not be valid too long from now (30 minutes till the GBP news only ....)

Waiting for a break of 1.6235 area now ....

Hi,

squarred out for lunch now.

That was a exhausting fight.
Finally I did not change to long bias for cable, because short before I was ready to do so, price was going down again. So PA saved me before I got in trouble - thanx Iron Lady!
Was always watching my very short charts to get any idea wich direction is going to win. Now I have to do a relaxing program for my eyes (peeling onions for example for a fine pesto for the pasta ...)

CU later in NY session again ....
