I've heard that indicators are past and they are not reliable, so I'm looking for a system that would predict the market behavior by the moon phases or star position. I've looked around this forum and haven't found any of such systems. Is it because the banks are trading like this and they want to keep people in the dark so they are paying the moderators to remove such threads? Please do not remove my post, we the traders have the right to know the truth!

Regardless of what banks are looking at for their trading decisions, we can still see what they are doing without indicators (or the stars). Sure, some people have success with those things, but it is very possible to enter with the institutions. All it takes is price action, volume, and lots of dedicated trial and error to (know where to) jump in with 'em.

Good to see you're not "looking for a system" and have decided to think about professional money.

Try using key information from the previous day e.g high, low, close to give you predictive points for the next days trading you may be surprised.

Looked at sunspot activity for the S&P once -- Interesting.

The truth about trading is that there really is no scheme/secret order to the market. Most traders at banks/large firms make profit based on trading physical products and their profit and trading systems are mostly based on products (shipment and delivery of things like crude or RBOB and their compensation is a "spread").

The other branch of trading (fundamental/technical trading) is comprised of traders who do all sorts of things, but primarily find an edge, research the edge, and trade the edge.
