Oh, longs are looking good, a break of this weeks high and we should see a nice push higher.

I must say it's too bad this thread has become so sparse ... on trading, GY has been a pure dog, stuck between the ups of GU and downs of UJ - hovering just below the 129 area for hours now. I've actually taken a short here, since we're approaching another of those 15yr low points in UJ, and assuming the drop's not huge, it should bounce, reflecting as GU weakness, and GY should go down.

GU trading isn't in it's traditional form either ... we're making some new highs, but sweeping up and down in a kind of senseless pursuit, as GU primarily responds to USD weakness and spurts of strength. We may or may not have a top with this last reach to 1.6015 - we're heading into London close, and NY/Chicago lunch until 2pm. By then, the week's pretty much been set, and although we may see some S&P weakness, I see cable closing somewhere around 1.597, hangin' around a UTL that will leave ambiguity on what's in store for next week.

Have changed my profile wording to 'Interactive stop sweeping' based on the innumerable excellent entries I've taken, only to have them taken out upon a PA return to my entry point ... it's been a NY morning of channel trading, and although I participate, profitability isn't significant. On the bright side, it's perfect trading for some EAs, making multiple entries, adding to them with increased lot sizes on retraces, and taking profit on the rebound ... adding many percents to that sub-account thankfully.

Am still subscribing to significant bearishness for GU, EU, and thus GY & EY for next week. Happy weekend to all.

It's spending a lot of time on the top of my channel. I'm a bit leery so I'm taking smaller shorts. The dips to 128 get bought quick.

If UJ bounces and GU drops, I think we still go up because UJ as of now is near lows and GJ is near lows as well, while GU is no where near lows.

All Traders When I'm Trade up 20pips I lockin profit on all of my trades posted to avoid losses... Remember "Your Eyes are Your BEST Indicators"

how do u lock in profits when the minimum sl is 7pips and considering that u need to add spread of say 5pips for gj. that will give 12 pips leaving a window of 8pips, meaning no breading space for pa. or am i missing something? pls clarify. thnx.

I would advise bigger stops and lower lots.

...as Malcolm14 once said, fifty pips on Geppy is but a fart.

Hi, Yes you do include your (spread)+20pips on your trading station...So If chart price is 130.20--(Trade Station 130.27) when Chart gets to 130.40 it really has to get to whatever your spread is in order to lockin profit(around 130.47)

Stops are small because I can trade Each Session because my theory involves using FTSE 100,Nikki225 and Dow Jones...Since the market has new emotions each Session I trade off of each I can do LONG TERM trades with larger stops but everyday trading is fun and makes me become a better trader--- Hey you all ever heard of (TURN1to100) his yahoo IM is [email protected] look at the thread..."Auslanco's trade service Partner" has over 400 clients worldwide and sends trade calls Daily by Yahoo IM...ADD him-- no losses posted over a year of post.http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...=58730&page=51

looking at the results of the last BOJ intervention in September GJ rose far more than UJ despite the fact that the intervention was as a result of the falling dollar. Do you guys think this may be the case again if UJ hits its all time low?

Also could anyone try to explain why GJ would rise more than UJ in these instances?
