Grrr .... knocked out of my MT4 BE short with a 15 pip loss, lol ... should have taken the 45 pips when I had it ... oh well ... guess we're buying sterling on the 'great' news ... should be good for a ride up to 1.587 at least as 1st stop. Unless the pros sell into it before that, which they may be about 1.585 ...
The PA was very suspect, but I chose not to believe it ... anyone else think the news was 'leaked'? Of course it was.
Of course the news was leaked and itīs more than suspicious that actually the number beat 100 % of economists predicting GDP figures. Very suspicious too: chancellor Osbourneīs super fast release of his statementīs for the figures.
This is 1000% made up by the government.
The fine English gentleman writes a letter to the Treasury...

2 of my post (short) got SLed...be patience guys...there will be another opportunity for us to short this again...i do think that the there are still something going on here....

I could make that work but hmmm ... that would need major USD/JPY strength and/or major sterling strength ... neither too likely at this point!

Go tell Bernanke to stop with all the QE2 chatter and you'll have your wish.
Come Nov 3 I'm betting Cable to plummet when its revealed QE2 was a giant buy the rumour sell the fact event. Seriously when officials start jawboning the market when has it not been the case.

Buying UJ now, potential downside is limited.
We're a 100 pips from all time low. Maybe it gets there, maybe not. Maybe BOJ intervenes.
or will UJ go to 75, 70, 60, and then to zero? Hard to believe. Would be fun though, US/Japan parity, $ 1 = 1 Yen, how does that sound?
But this means that downside for GJ is also limited.

Closed my long uy @ 81.40 for 70 pips gain.
Closed my long gy @ 129 for 170 pips gain.
And thinking about what to do next.
