looks like a myth has been broken. we all heard about those 5% who make it in this business. look at this http://forexmagnates.com/us-forex-br...ty-comparison/. 21% minimum. the obvious conclusion is that traders have become better.

all i got from that article is this “The more you trade the less you earn.”. it sounds the same as in don't overtrade. imho that's bullshit. like in that probabilities game that i pointed out the more you trade the more you reach the probabilities numbers of your strategy. if the strategy does not work in high numbers of trades then that means that you're a failure because you have invested your money in a loosing system.

this guy who wrote the article...phd(very smart) has the logical thinking of a monkey. first of all the article says that 82% are loosers. that means that 18% are winners. here is his conclusion: "The truth is: They can’t … they never do … and they never will beat the market … no matter how long they try … trading’s a loser‘s game.". even if there were 1% winners we cannot reach the same conclusion as he did. maybe his girlfriend left him for a successfull trader or something like that :d

i already read from the first page until your last post,
usually i trade using only candlestick technique,
and i have 1 question for u, are those divergences is a must ?
please take a look at my chart, is the last double top is the right setup ?

they way i see things divergence is a must. in the case that you presented me with: let's suppose it had divergence it still was a no trade for me because i would like to see a max of 4 bars at the second top.

hy tex. on the second arrow we have a bearish outside bar and with divergence. it is a valid 2b setup.

Thanks Delta. I took the eur/cad way back on the 4hr chart and still doing well.It made a double top peep with divergence I'll try to post chart later if you like. Tex

Shouldnt the trigger be below the pinbar, bar number 3 ? I mean if divergence was present

if div was present you can also interpret it in that way but on my charts that pin looked very small so i combined the bars to get a meaningfull bullish bar.
