I took long EU from 1.403, 20 SL. Risky, but I think there was lots of buying going on, we will see soon.

EU 15m followed by a 5m. This looks like buying at support (15) and also a nice shake out (5).

Bars like these are tricky. This could have been classified as a high volume test. I do not like to trade high volume tests since usually the supply on the bar will be retested. The markets do not like high volume bars in general and this was no different.

For me, I waited until the next 15 min candle closed to see if traders really were long. When I saw that the high was tested and the next bar closed on its lows combined with a dropping ES was enough for me to short.

Also one interesting thing on D1 EURUSD

My advice try to trade more short setups on intraday this week :

Reason D1 is clear down with 1 stoping volumen on one mini chanel wich can be huge in next weeks..Uper line of chanel is projection from down and that is very strong,be carefull guys on long term according this situation we can see EUR at 1.3400 or 1.3000.MA is also red and good for sell..THis is just my advice of course D1 is long term but can help to determinate intra setups..

Reading my mind....... But I will not short, waiting for a nice place to ditch my 4 crosses, E/J, C/J, G/J and A/J and buy E/U. Playing only daily now and chewing up the crosses. However, if I get a close below 4044 on EUR/AUD I will short long term with my Daily system......Well, back into the Mountains.

Here is post i found on another thread. It explains the mechanics of a hidden test and squat.

"As I investigate compression as a hidden dimension of market activity I keep noticing a repeated sequence of what I call dance moves.

Basic Rollover Dance Moves

 

  1. price cannot break resistance for 12 hours
  2. price drops down
  3. after rollover price retraces up towards resistance again
  4. during this retrace compression increases
  5. all the retrace candles are small in a narrow channel
  6. max compression is reached with doji or similar
  7. price drops down again on low compression

What does it mean ?

After rollover trading activity builds up steadily leading into Tokyo Open.
Activity is increasing but the price only moves slowly because it is meeting opposition.
The strength of this opposition is measured by compression.

When perfect balance is achieved and momentum has slowed to zero (seen on doji like candles) compression reaches a peak. Effortlessly now the bears take over and price accelerates down.

Can I learn to dance in sync with these moves, and not push against them ?"

Good article but for me most important thing is DISCIPLINE.You can trade every system you want but you must add your rules accorind your knowledge about MM,RRR,and your personality.I started to earn money after many many practice discipline and my advice for everyone >

Guys if you looking for new method,system,grail indi or something similar you wont find that becouse tha most i powerfull system is Discipline and Knowlegde,two main indicators for trading..
