Triple taps

hope your sl went to the pivot. it was a little over 50 for me....it was the lowest low on the horizontal line ....just closed A/J for + 52 pips

U/J just did a Triple tap on the 4 hr. 7:15 usa eastern time. Indicators look pretty good. The trends on the 4hr, d, week are not long....but the indicators are all pretty much down turning up. Shouldn't be a big surprise for the next 75 pips up. Then could go back down.

G/J tapped a bit ago......looks like it's the yen thing this week.

P.S......I don't think it's going to drop after 75 or so pips. The daily and weekly look too "up"

E/J hit 112.00 - Remember it from about a week ago??? I'm really starting to pay attention to triple taps on the daily and weekly. They are usually very accurate. Also it's good to take a peek at the daily and weekly taps before entering a 4 hr triple tap. It helps to verify your 4hr trade with the daily. It verify's the strength of the 4hr trade. Go back to about the 14th (and before for longer tf's)....you'll notice triple taps on all tf's all the way out to the monthly. That said, I'm dropping!

U/J is a great example. The 1 hr and 4hr tf's triple tapped. Also....the daily triple tapped. This says to me we are in for more then just 50 pips. We should have a rise for a few days. The weekly is on it's second tap. Looking ahead can give me a extra indicator as to how good the rise should be.

I entered too early yesterday without evaluating the longer time frames.

G/J is a good one to assess the daily and weekly triple taps in relationship to a 4 hr trade. There's a 4 hr triple tap ...the first point being in may.

Notice the daily chart has triple tapped the horizontal line at 127.72

Notice the weekly has also triple tapped the same horizontal bottom line.

Even the monthly has triple tapped the same line.

If this doesn't go up I'm at lost for words. (it could fall to 126.50.....I don't see it falling anymore then that....it's the lowest pivot. I really don't think it will go lower then 127.50ish) This could be a great long term trade for lots of pips.

I'm putting my money where my mouth is....

Entered G/J at 128.19. Will possibly exit at a minimum of 129.10 for 90 pips. I believe I will stay to about 129.90 if things look good. That's 18 pips below yesterdays high. My stop loss is 127.46. Entered at 6:43pm eastern usa time. I believe 130.25 to 130.60 is realistic....it's a tap on the upper major trend line.

For U/J - I always watch gold to evaluate the dollar....it took a hit today. Tells me dollar up. (that could change like the wind so it doesn't hold a large amount of credibility) Also the dollar pairs are somewhat down on the longer tf indicators like the stoch and tdi. This could mean an up bias coming.

Also, it's now 7:00pm eastern....there's a triple tap on the 1 hr for g/j.

Yep, G/J can be harsh but I'm not worried. Hit stop loss. I'm now doubled up and long. I believe what I'm seeing. It hit the low. If it breaks low....I'll give it 50 pips. I don't believe it will. I still say up.

G/J - Took it back up to the daily pivot at 128.11. Gave me +2 pips for the night. Exited to watch it. Now will wait for the doji to finish on the 4 hr. Also waiting for third tap on line.

There's two taps on a 1 hr upward trend line. This is going to be an interesting day. Considering all the experts say it's going down. I still say that bottom horizontal trend line and indicators don't lie. Especially longer term

The 1hr indicators are turning up.
The 4hr indies are down....not quite turning up yet....could at any time. daily pretty much down.

I'm feeling a tp of 129.11 is more reasonable. It's the top of the channel. It should break it and go to higher tl. The safer move is 129.11

G/J - As per last post.....it performed as it looked. The indicators don't lie.

I took A/J instead. But great analysis.

A/J just had 3rd tap on h4. Should fall for 1hr and 4hr....daily is harder to read.
Should get a fair bit of pips.

A/CHF triple tap about 20 pips ago.

E/J is tapping the 4 hr upper line. If it holds the line without breaking up....should drop. Be careful on this on. It's hit the bottom already. Could go through. Indicators say it should drop.

G/U triple tapped the 1 hr chart. It may on the 4hr soon. The indicators are mixed. Look good on the 4hr chart.

G/CHF - triple tapped the 4hr....indicators mixed.

U/J has hit a hard bottom horizontal line again. It seems to be on a major trend reversal. I'll start watching to catch a triple tap on a rising trend line. The 1 hr triple tapped going up. The 4hr is a funky looking tt. The indicators look pretty good on this one. Very down, ready to rise, all the way out to the longer time frames.

I like A/J short and U/J long (U/J is breaking through tl but the horizontal bottom tl is only about 25 pips away....not worried unless breaks horizontal line.)

I'm in A/J short at the triple tap. I'm looking for a tp that's just above the daily pivot of 79.42....maybe 79.50

Be aware...china's news is coming out at 10:00pm or so and it will effect A/J.....it really effects Aud. Hold your knickers!

G/J hit 129.11 in the last 4 hrs. As per this morning and last night.

Interesting strategy you've here....I like your analysis of almost all the good pairs...would appreciate it if you could give out the rates at which the taps might take place so i could put in the trendline to see for myself on the charts as well if possible...very much interested in learning this strategy...thanks in advance

Use the 4 hr chart unless listed otherwise. If I say top trend line, run a line across the top of candles. You'll see at least three times the price has hit the line. Unless I say coming up on third touch....then look for two taps with the candles headed for a third. Go in at the 3rd tap. You can wait slightly to see if price will go through the line and come back.

I use three indicators. 5,3,3 stoch. The TDI. (search it on this site) The #3 rsi. Usually the best trades are with the trend. Check the 4 hr, daily, weekly charts. The last candle should be the same....all long or such. You can ignore this if the indicators are all maxed in a direction and it's hitting a trendline.

Go for 50 pip tp and use a 50 pip sl....I do allow a little forgiveness for fibo lines and such. The daily pivot line was a good tp. it's usually strong resistence or support.

Here's a decent example listed on the chart below. It is A/J ... It's not perfect because I'd like the green TDI line to be crossing the red line. stoch is crossing down, rsi is pointed down...look at the red verticle line on chart. If you measure at the third tap to the next low it's about 57 pips. It only moved up 20 pips so the stop loss was never close to being hit. Good trade! This was a short.

I'm busy tonight so I may not even trade today.

There's a good possiblity that price on A/J will head to the main trend line above the one I traded. (on chart above) Look for a third tap on it and trade down if the indicators agree. I'd guess they will.

ChF/JPY

This is the best I see so far....looks like a triple tap on the 4 hr channel. One on the daily. Another bottom trend line tap on the weekly also. It's going up. It may drop a little more. It could go 60 or so to the other lower line. This is the daily chart listed below. I would wait for the 1 hr indicators to turn upward before entering. It seems like the indicators are saying it's going to the lower trend line before rising. The daily indicators are saying it's going up very soon!!! weekly indicator - draw a trend line under the stoch, looks bull...look for the green tdi line to turn up

This one seems like it could be a 125 pip trade. If it rises....don't jump right out at 50 pips. Also, Don't jump right in!!! Be cautious. If price breaks the top of the channel trend line then it could be 300 pips.

Be careful until about 8:30pm eastern usa....there's news tonight.

Got the first 50 pips.....now lets see if it breaks 83.52 or so....

Then we'll head for the upper channel line. Be careful - preserve profit. Don't give it back.

CHF/JPY - taps on 5 min, 15m, 30min, 1 hr trend line.

The main bottom trend line is tapped hard on the 4hr, daily. It broke through the line by about 50 pips. It looks like it is officially reversed.

I'm going in soon. Maybe a little break of the short term trendlines. I expect a long large bull run soon

There's a great doji on almost all the time frames.
4hr and daily indicators are turning up.....the weekly rsi is starting to turn.
