I might be a newb, but OP is saying buy high, sell low? That doesn't make sense does it?

  1. Consider any (up or down) swing as having an initial (buy low or sell high) and a finishing (buy high or sell low) phase.
  2. Discover the finishing phase through studying the initial phase, thus providing more solid reasons to enter, profit or stop a trade.
  3. Trade the finishing phase.

If one trades only lagging indicators, which by definition take longer to recognize a direction, then this may be all one does.

Make sense?

Forex is hard at first because you always need 100reasons to open a trade thinking to much and waiting confirmation for 100 pips ups and you end at buying a top and selling a bottom but after 5-10 year of trading non stop you dont use S/L or other sh***t

What the OP is trying to say is that when you see the price going up, buy, and when you see it going down, sell. By going with the trend you simply hop on and ride along for a section of the up or down-swing. That, in its simplest form is how to trade, except that you also need to know how to pick your exit point. And then there's psychology which often gets in the way, with fear and uncertainty preventing you from making a rational decision at the right time.

So in theory the OP is quite right that it's that easy, but in practice it's a lot harder than it seems.

Looks like someone tried to call a bottom; very risky. Loss had nothing to do with the SL. It was just a bad call... we all have them.

Hopping on a trend is what traders do EXCEPT you don't know when the ride is going to end. It could end as soon as you have hopped on it or even worse, reversed to the other direction as soon as you hopped on it or hopefully continue for a long time once you are on it.

The real essence in trading is figure out which trend will/will not continue and for how long and this is what traders develope systems/strategies for and once you have a system or strategy to figure the trend out, then trading becomes easy.

i putted that s/l accidentaly i dont use s/l at all i had to go away from my pc i tought i removed a s/l shit happens lol

i think the reason that 5 year olds might do better is that they are playing with their parents money not theirs.

90% of the prices you see is a balance of greed and fear, it's all down to phsycology, that's why traders go into all this trouble to make things more complicated, so they can trade with higher confidence.

im profitable all months constantely for 1.5 - 2 years now , and in forex for 4-5 years now i took me 2,5 year to make mm and my system

I scaled EURJPY 5m 45,000 pips in 5 weeks but I realized the danger scaling EURCHF. I have been trading for one year and I consider myself a novice because I gave back some profits since using stops. I think there is only one server computer worldwide where everything feeds into that moves the market because it knows everything on the client platforms and counters with billions of account dollars.

No, it's not easy. Making money in forex requires you to have a good system and certainly requires a degree of diligence and right mindset.
