Dislikedyes, i trade hedge a bit different way. when EC go up, i trade EU and UC both short vice versa. I just trade basic hedge. the picture i attached above, I entered when EU was far away from up trend line, UC sill hang out on down trend line. so, i traded both short on the premise of good negative correlation.Ignored
Dislikedthe basic concept is almost same. but i dont use any specific number like that.Ignored
DislikedHi All,
I've been reading thru almost all the contents of the forums to my best effort and have also implemented trades based on the correlated pair.. and to tell the truth i've raked x no of profit.
take for example of today gbpusd / gbpchf there was a gap and finally closed, i made money. this is just one of the example... i made kind of good money last week (+ -).
Looks like the best effortless easiet system... hands off to this strategy....
Kindly let me know if there's anything else i've missed out...
cheers!....................Ignored
DislikedYou've missed out on the fact that this system does not work. Please do not trade it live. The problem is that the gaps continually resize themselves so that what once looked like a huge gap can look teensy tiny when the scale resizes. This can go on for weeks, or months, or years!Ignored
DislikedOne could draw 2 charts onto one by hand, 1 hour chart for example and only the closing pricing prices.
This way there wouldn´t be the issue of rescaling and gap-closing.
What do you think deamliner ?Ignored

DislikedDreamliner,
you're a very hard-working contributor or rather starter of threads here in FF. My respect and compliments for your efforts and sharing this.
I read this thread completely in a few days some weeks ago and I have to confess, scaling was a problem mentioned but it wasn't stated that the Hedge don't work at all. May be I missed this though.
Correlation is a fact. What about eliminating the autoscale and using fixed scaling? I haven't tried this yet, but should get proper means not resized charts, IF you are changing your chart range...Ignored
