They are delightful.

They are akin to Prince Charles and Prince Phillip in the UK for comic relief.

Completely out of touch with reality.

Hopefully this gives the guys from Southpark good reason to make Team America World Police 2.

Any of you guys know whether today's bank holidays in the US and Canada translate into market volumes being low? I can't tell if it is a retail bank branch holiday or if the traders will be at home too.

Fixed Income markets are closed. Futures & Equity markets open, but a lot of people are out, should be an extremely low volume day...

Certainly flatlining, not surprised the S&P is catching a bid though this constant grind upwards is becoming the new normal...........

Low -- Excellent article. It reminds me of those surveys where 90% of drivers consider themselves to be above average...

On a related note, I actually contacted Oanda about a week ago to try to get the stats on their client's "Success Rate", i.e. their number of accounts that were profitable each quarter and number that were not. At first they claimed not to know what i was talking about. Then I gave them the link to the CFTC announcement and they claimed they would email me the next day (no answer). Then i asked again on Friday and they said their legal team was reviewing the regulation and would have a decision on what they would send out "soon". Hmm -- funny that the site with the "Forex Trader's Bill of Rights" and all these claims about how innovative & transparent they are would not be the leader in this department. Something tells me their numbers don't look very good, but i guess we shall see!

Ahh....thanks ISL.....explains a lot actually. As a forex and stock (mainly) trader, it's always easy to forget about our friends in the bond world.

I have to step in and say that if given the choice, I would much prefer Prince Phillip to be King "Phil" of the US instead of these jokers we keep electing.

If nothing else, it would be entertaining!

This is worrisome, being I have an Oanda account.

I think most brokers would react in a similar manner to Oanda to such requests.

Nothing gives a massive marketing and advertising campaign a swifter kick in the rocks than proof, reported from your own statistics that most of your clients lose their money. Furthermore, when it is nearly all of your clients then the average retail investor will probably react as they have in equities and leave.

These brokers have and are spending fortunes sponsoring not one but 2 premier league football teams, F1 teams et al. In fact courtesy of the comedians at zero hedge I now know the only 4 materials more expensive per ounce on the planet than broker reputation are (..."gold...., unicorn tears, Brooklyn Decker's vagina, and of course the rarest of materials, John Edwards' credibility")

FAIL of the day:

I had a guy today visit the trading room that a couple of my friends run telling us he'd sold his car to start trading forex, blew up his 8k account and is now looking like being divorced. The part of me that doesn't have a chunk of coal for a heart and isn't shrieking Darwinism Fail and LMFAO understands 110% why Oanda doesn't want that information in the hands of an intelligent person with a twinkle in his eye such as Infinity. They would/will get crucified and rightly so......

For what it's worth, this is my chart. We will see if it consolidates first, then moves down. It is worth noting that the 1.40 is the 61.8% retrace of the big move down.....
