IBfx's Profitability Report

This is simple. Open an account with them. The first time you have a problem you'll understand why the figures are dropping. They have my baby peanut account. My large account is elsewhere. They are arrogant and unfair. No problem!!! There's lots of others.

The only problem I ever had with them was over a deposit/transfer. After I sent them a nasty email, a manager called me the next morning and took care of the problem that evening.

i haven't had a problem with them, and i've been live for the last 2 years.
On the other hand, i wouldn't trust a big account with them. In fact, I wouldn't trust a broker who doesn't offer funds protection.

I think assets will pick up with the mandatory repatriation of US. citizens accounts. My account being one of them. Actually, the only reason I left them last year was for higher leverage. I don't find them arrogant at all. So far, in the three years I've dealt with them, they've been nothing but nice. Some swear they widen spreads around your SL settings which if true would be something to beef about . But there are ways to hide your SL settings.

If not for the CFTC and the 50:1 handcuffs I would still be with them. I can tell you there are far worse brokers.

The years I had been with them I rarely had too much problems and as time went on rarely a server crash or anything that interferred with my trading and I traded during all times of the market.

But what really irks me is they claimed to "not take the otherside of a trade" OR "trade against the client."

However, they made it a point via the CFTC garbage to state this is exactly what they have done. So the question is do you have enough trust to trust someone that proclaims to be a self-proclaimed-liar?

Then after so many days ago... they tell us --- oh you don't have to agree to what we sent you... your accounts are fine, you can trade as you always have. What the hell?

OR Many moon ago:

If you get caught for scalping we will flag your account. You won't be able to trade blah, blah, blah.

Now: You can scalp all you want... we luv you scalpers. Again what the hell?

See when you been with a broker for a long time you can spot the crap before it hits you in your face. You can see the lies a mile away.

However, in the end I still would be with IBFX if not for 50:1 or any stupidity thereof.

The lesson these brokers / CFTC have in all of this is they can't and will not ever get over the Broker / Client relationship hurdle.

The broker is in business for themselves not the client. However, the broker ceases to exist without the client. Vote with your money and where you put it.

IBFX we are the clients, we gave you over 9000 reasons to fight the CFTC
of which you did NOTHING. Slap that on your awards shelf.

Well ok then.... I have 5 accts with them... but all of them have a 0 balance... so are those accts counted or are they not?

In the end I really don't care, because I can tell by IBFX constant jumping from one thing to the next they are losing their customer base. If you have an acct holder that has multiple accts that has been with you for 7 plus years all of a sudden close down you've done something irrevocably wrong!

Maybe we'll come back here in a year and I'm wrong.

I will never trader with IBFX again. I do agree when I used them I was not the greatest trader, but they had crazy spreads, very poor execution (requotes half the time, slippage the other half) and horrible customer service. This was about two years ago - perhaps they have improved since then but I'm not giving my business back to the same people who treated me like crap, no matter what they've done to improve.

I have switched to Oanda and am extremely pleased so far, barring their recent platform crash.

I would like to know how much money the profitable ones are making.... also how mnay accounts that were pofitable in one quater are still profitable in the next.... or how many accounts are profitable after 1 year
