Big E, How will we manage when price in consolidation and TDI cross up and down? I decided to sell because TDI yellow heading down.

It's easier to read the TDI if you make the yellow line dotted.

PA did bounce up above the 21ema several times after the initial entry. That's a bounce too.

Don't trade in consolidation because you'll probably lose pips.

Look for trades on the TDI from the bottom up or top down on the green line crossing red until you get more experience.

I'm pretty sure he posted it already. If you click on the paperclip icon in the top right of the page, you will see all attachments...should be easy to quickly spot the template files.

Hi traderfxpt

At post # 24, Big E posted the HA candle and TDI indicators there.
Set moving average 21 EMA shift 3, Typical and
233 EMA shift 5, Typical. Hope this helps.

hello all. Asked this before but still a bit confused. I know the angle of stoch required. But this angle is dependent on the total number of bars and the width of your screen In other words if I zoom in so much that my left side of chart to the right side is a total of 4 hours woirth of 15 min bars the stoch angle is always damn near 9 to 3. If I zoom waay out its the opposite. So, what to do? I guess I can look at screen shot of craigs and try to match up that day with my chart and zoom in or out until my stoch angle is the same. This has been buggin me for a month!!!

There is a stochastic indicator you can find in this thread that changes color when the stochastic's slope is within a predefined level. It is also used in the template NeoRio made.
Red=angle is too low, Green=angle is acceptable.

Big E,

Love your thread!!! This morning (I am on your timezone) the AUD
trended up and down. Do you always follow a larger trend, or could a person trade both ways, disregarding the trend, and use the TDI red/green cross for exit??

Thanks again for this thread....you and all the other contributers here have saved my forex career...(literally)

Second template is:

5 sma, Shift 2, Typical
HA Candles
TDI set at default
Stoch at 8,3,3

I use both templates successfully and their both simple to trade. Just make your templates, put them on your chart and study the flow and see the trades you would have taken.

Dont use the Yellow TDI line to enter trades. Juat TDI cross or bounce & Stochs for entries. I use the 5 minute chart when I only have a couple of hours to trade...
