Haha thanks V, I was miffed I missed the intial long, I just couldn't get my head around what the 6am H4 candle was telling me.

I always knew there are supposedly 1.3 trillion dollars traded daily on forex, an ex city trader mate told me yesterday 60 - 70% of that is on EU, man you don't want to get on the wrong side of that LOL.

Personally if I was in that move I'd have been exiting around 5900 as session run was around 140 at its peak. Whatever you're on one heck of a roll, love it.

I don't know whats going on with RB charts but I loaded on gu but doesn't want to know about eur or ej. Wierd.

$4.0 trillion per day in 2010 according to the Bank of International Settlements' Central Bank Survey of Foreign Exchange and Derivatives Market Activity. It was around $1.3 trillion in 2001 or so, I believe. EUR/USD accounted for 28% of overall turnover, but of course that varies depending on which session you are trading.

Method should work on any product. You just need to do the homework on charts for something that may have ultra wide spread and volatility like the rand.

Hi all 1st trade of the day LH after LO fake with a bearish wick on the 15min closing back under Ys high I closed at 15900.
I didn't post yesterday because I was feeling ill.
Sorry if chart not clear I forgot to enlarge it.

Dissapointed we didn't get that one. Nice.

We got the 2b buy above DO, not a convincing move up so stop already at 5899.

Target actually 1.60.

Stalled at 15 level which does give rise to it being a poss 85/15 range trade. As we are going against the 1hr neg close banked 17.

I took the short as well around 5897, the one that did not work. I can see now your 2B buy. Would you mind to explain when do you exactly decide to turn around? Also the point for entry would be above the high of the 1st poke candle, correct? Would not that one be above 5897? I saw you entered earlier (which is great, by the way).

Hi there and welcome.

When did we think buy, we missed the sell at the top which reflex posted. We were concerned at selling in and around the RN with DO just below. The lower high at the RN came after the LO level had held once already. We did discuss the sell but rejected it as the move down to DO/85 area could easily be a 15/85 range trade, the LO price at 89 also likely to be defended in an overall uptrend. We were worried we would miss a buy trying to exit a sell and not having the buy trade loaded.

If price is above DO in an overall uptrend we are very wary trading those areas, and as mentioned the 85/15 reversals can apply. When these combine ..................

If were in and got to +12 or so we would definitely have had stop at BE with the LO/85 level having held once already.
