MT4 doesn't control the routing of the mail. It sends it to the address in the configuration section which is usually a traditional email address. Several people have mentioned relaying from their primary address to a mobile device. Others have mentioned being able to send directly to the mobile device (depends on carrier). Do a search for all threads containing email in this forum for the last 4 months and you will find the answer.
I use my mobile to receive alerts on 4 favourite indicators. You need a mobile that can receive emails. I have a HTC HD2. I set it up to check email account every 5 minutes. This is fine as the stategies I use these indicators on is on 4 hour charts. I set up a new email account with gmail - I reckon the fastest and most relyable. My original email set up with my server sometimes has up tp 1hr delays. In metatrader you go to tools-options-emails and set it up. Works sweet.
