The above is an update on my commodity trades. Something that is working well for me while unable to do my forex.
I have been doing a lot of reading and thinking these past few days about the forex and trading it. I have come to the conclusion that no two people will trade it alike. As a matter of fact I am begining to think you need to be somewhat fanatical about it to trade it well. Someone who is willing to study and do a lot of trial and error at times. Someone wo is in control of their mind and body.
Also no one can motivate you but yourself. Others can inspire you but it takes me to motivate me. So I was thinking about what I can do while sitting in front of my computer waiting.......and waiting.............and waiting.......for the A+ setup, at least my definition of an A+ setup. So for me I willl read a simple book, or write in my personal trading journal, or FF trading journal, or write in my motivation journal.
The motivation journal is the most fun for me to write in. I will find pictures that inspire me. Funny quotes or stories that build my mind. But this joural I try to read from every day. It helps remind me of why I spend so many hours doing this and helps me stay focused on a goal. Shoot,, I even wrote in there about potentualy opening up a hedgfund that specializes in currencies.
The way I figure you are thinking anyway....so think big.
Small goals are the stepping stones to big goals.
To earn a million pips you have to first earn one.
Have you ever figured out how much money you would have if you placed 1 penny on the first square of a chess board and doubled it for each square there after?
