At the moment seems that it goes up because it went up before accumulation. But in 20 min there will be news. We don't know good or bad.

I was not speaking about what is happening right now, that was advice(?) to see big picture and when to trade.
You know to have success, you should only trade, when all things are on your side, you just need discipline and patience, when you have learned strategy what you are using, in this case VSA. You dont have to trade all the time, just take trades, when you have everything on your side. For example: ND in upper trend line, after weakness is a strong signal.

Isn't fx fun today in US session ? NOT

although by understanding background we can seller on gu 1.5850 and every effrot to rise since.

I have been on es 1144 to 1137 and selling gu off 1,5850

sold once off 1144 , then again off 1145 ., 1137 as targets , pretty much holding a channel for days now.... printing press.

Hi Malc,

Could you please check AUD/USD Daily Futures Volume and advise of your views.

1) Last 3 days price is finding resistance at 0.9700.
2) Talking of symmetry last upmove was about 900 Pips then a retracement of 450 Pips. Recent upmove is 960 Pips and looks exhausted.
3) 0.9850 is all time high resistance

I am already in for a swing trade (Short) Entry 0.9703 - SL 0.9920 - TP 0.9350. Will reassess trade, if price reach 0.9500.

Don't really look at Yen futures chart, but this one pre and post intervention looks interesting. At it's simplest, futures buyers simply thumbed their nose at the intervention and piled back into the yen. The 4H and daily looks even more spooky. IMO, too bad BoJ hasn't stuck to the resolve it tried to build, either through additional intervention or other easing measures. Next week should be real interesting.

My broker tells me I am seeing consolidated futures volumes on 6J, at least North American based - not sure about beyond that. Would welcome any comments on the chart. Check the news tidbit on UJ 83.16 too.

another large move coming UP ?

why do I have the feeling this week was just some form of shake out on gu ?

this rounded bottom on a 15 with a stopping vol and a shake out suggests gu moving higher next week.

gu futures very toppy

weekly and daily charts .. all notes on the charts

Hulls still green so trying to pick a long term trade at this point may be tricky. Instead I will be more focused on the channels we have 1.5850 to 1.5700 . and 1.5850 to 1.6000

Got burnt on my I/T trade for 40 pippers. Bummer, but they do not always work, more so of late than a coulpe of years ago. I always struggle trying to understand VSA, and I dont think I will ever catch it.

But anyway, I was looking at a correlation between he hull M/A and Stochastics on the Daily Timeframe AND the weekly. You might want to give it a look? Seems to me some huge moves can easily be predicted by trading the Stochastic cross down when Hull is down and the cross up when Hull is up. I have some examples below shown with profit being pulled when a candle closes on the opposite side of Hulls. I know there are a lot of pips wasted that way, but maybe you could see a better way to use this. I am still trying to get an entry/exit thingy going here.

Here is a weekly trade that netted 2200 pips in 5 months. Large stops I know, ( 700+ ), but it is interesting and we are talking weekly here.

I have seen changes in the market just over the past 2 years. Old schemes dont seem to work as often. It used to be easier I am thinking. 6 to 7 years ago you could easily bank on a trade like an inside Top or Bottom by looking for nesting dolls, but you never hear those terms anymore. Does anyone else see the same thing happening? I think it is because there are so many young traders these days.

it's Hit and run for me nowadays , i just Trade the daily ranges(75-100 pips) and i exit at close of the session. Pretty simple Life for me!!

There are just a few things You really have to look for !! it's really
not that complicated--Just stick to a few things,,!!

Believe me, I have tried. I learned to trade sitting side by side with my colleges and it was easy. But to learn a new way of trading is not as easy for me as someone else. You see, I have a learning disability where I can not comprehend written text. That is why I get upset so much when they tease me. Its not my fault and I have a great long term memory but I cant remember anything I did last week. I have to learn hands on or I am in trouble.

You should se me with instructions to put something together....LOL Im a complete train wreck! I study charts all weekend long and write everything down. But it is still hard. I do ok, but not as good as 5 years ago.

The market has changed and it seems fx is being more and more manipulated.

Even since 2008 crash though the stock market has also changed ans is pretty much run by algos now.
