yes, they all repaint somewhat... too bad... but they all do as far as I know..

Maybe use ALF is a good idea to trade in conjunction with other indicators (buy if price is above alf or sell if price is below alf).

To my knowledge 'Fisher_Yur4ik_Correct' does not repaint.

But it still out on how useful Fisher is. For me rsi(4, median price) is far more precise than anything else..

WOW!! Am forward testing using nothing but alf set at 100 on the 15m. EURUSD.

just a note.
using the alf I was able to clean up the chart.
it is much more responsive to trend changes than the 21sma I was trying to use.
so mark the trend changes according to alf on the weekly with red or blue rectangles so they bleed through to lower time frames and only trade in the direction of the higher time frame, long if blue, short if red.
nice....
just for a hoot, I know when I'm losing focus when the chart starts to look like a Grandma's attic.
see the difference before alf and after alf.

It can be coded to range. It's called normalizing. It's not difficult at all to do for someone who knows mlq.

no dss does not repaint.
I've been trading for quite some time.
to be honest with you indicators are useless.
ALL INDICATORS. because they lag price.
if you're looking for a purely mechanical system a moving average cross is far more reliable.
But the more time a wouldbe trader puts into studying charts and price action the better.
It's just that I came to the conclusion that indicators are a waste of time after studying just about every indicator ever coded.
Successful trading can be achieved but it's not easy to get there.
Discipline, money management and position sizing can make even a mediocre strategy a money maker.
99% of traders just lose money...
