This thread reminds me of two old fogies arguing against each other, each believing that the one of them who manages to speak loudest and last, wins the war of words.
Apparently folk believe that the more often they make the same tired old points over and over again, the more convincing their argument becomes. IMO it has the opposite effect.
If one's goal is to single-mindedly make money trading, the only person who needs to be convinced about anything is oneself; whatever others might or might not be doing is irrelevant. Even if, instead, one's priority is gaining recognition from one's peers, it doesn't alter the fact that trying to dissuade others, whose minds are immovably made up, is a pointless exercise.
